MBTI INFP romantic pairings and couples: INFP x ENTP

Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe (Anne of Green Gables 1985)

Makoto Edamura and Laurent Thierry (Great Pretender)

I love both couples. We have Anne and Matthew from an adaptation from a classic novel, and then Makoto and Laurent from Great Pretender, a really good anime. Both Anne of Green Gables and Great Pretender are great watches. Both are also really cute couples haha.

MBTI INFP romantic pairings and couples:

INFP x ENFJ

Ah yes, the famous INFP x ENFJ pair. Tbh I really love this pair so much that I have a few favorite couples. Although for some reason I find it hard to find this pairing in fiction whenever I look, despite how popular it is lol. Two of my favorite couples of this pairing are Yuri Katsuki (INFP) x Viktor Nikiforov (ENFJ) and Cinderella, “Ella” (INFP) x Kit (ENFJ).

Yuri is another great INFP I can relate to, (as an INFP myself) and everyone can agree his relationship with Viktor is really wholesome. Yuri on Ice is such a beautiful anime, and it’s also pretty short (12 eps). There should hopefully be a season two coming soon, and a movie has been confirmed!

Then we have Ella and Kit from the live-action Cinderella remake (2015). The original Cinderella is an ISFJ, however Ella is definitely shown as more of an INFP. Then we have Kit, who’s also a bit different from the original Prince Charming. Kit is very sweet, and he wants to be happy but he also just wants to please his father and keep the kingdom in good hands. The live action Cinderella movie was a really great watch. 

Finally there’s Leon Vargas (ENFJ) and Violetta Castillo (INFP) from Violetta. Tbh I haven’t seen much of Violetta but it looks pretty interesting.

My two favorite parings for this couple would be:

Chihiro (INFP) x Haku (INFJ)- From Spirited Away!

Wanda Maximoff (INFP) x Vision (INFJ)- From the MCU (Plus WandaVison)

They’re both so cute lol

INFP x ISTP

So for this pairing here, my favorite would have to be Mafuyu Sato (INFP) and Uenoyama Ritsuki (ISTP) from Given. It’s a really sweet anime that’s a bit emotional as well. I haven’t read the manga but I’m excited for season two hopefully. I also really liked it because of how much relate to Mafuyu.

Another example of this pairing I could find was Taki Tachibana (ISTP) and Mitsuha Miyazumi (INFP) from the movie Your Name. I liked Your Name, it was a pretty interesting, though Taki and Mitsuha didn’t really connect much until the end, but that’s just how I feel.

MBTI INFP romantic pairings and couples:

INFP x ESTJ

Ah, so this pairing isn’t very common. Why? Well INFP and ESTJ are often paired as “opposites”, and yes this is true, but they can still work to together, and they do have a bit in common. The best example I could find for this pairing would be Colette and Linguini from Ratatouille, a classic pairing. In the beginning they often clash, as they both have separate ways they prefer to do things, but they both share a love and passion for cooking. Eventually they even find a way to work together, and start catching feelings for each other. I really love this pairing, I’d love to see more “opposite” pairings like this that actually end up together in a healthy relationship. Pairings like IxFJ x ExTP, however, are actually really common, and even IxTJ x ExFP at times. Pairings like INFP x ESTJ, INTP x ESFJ, ISFP x ENTJ, etc, don’t really get as much romantic attention, not just the rivalry.

MBTI INFP romantic pairings and couples: 

INFP x ESFJ

My favorite couple of this pairing would be Kou Mabuchi (INFP) and Futaba Yoshioka (ESFJ) from Ao Haru ride. For anyone who hasn’t seen it basically they were both childhood friends until Kou “Disappeared” suddenly. Then one day Fubata is reunited with Kou in high school, but he’s changed. So yea, bit of a roller coaster after that. It’s a pretty interesting anime, it’s only 12 episodes and one season however. So I’d recommend reading the manga also.
