“Wah!! The ocean is bi~ig~! And... And...” The star child’s stubby arms wave about, standing on his tippy toes to try and see more of the horizon line of the ocean. His blue eyes sparkle with the same fervor of light dancing over the sea, and he looks from each side of the ocean to figure out his next words.

“And bluuuuue~!” That was a good word. Excitedly, Kirby looked over at his human companion, practically doing happy tippy-taps as he danced from side to side.

“Can... Can we go swimming?” He had  an inner tube, floaties and snorkel just for this purpose! Maybe they could see a coral reef? Or even just some little fishies would be good, too!

Earth was so different from Pop Star!

even after literal decades of knowing him, virote could still act like mystery, yet bruce had learned that there was always a way of figuring out what he was planning, if he knew where to look. he followed his trail up to the roof of the wayne tower skyscraper. nothing was telling him that vi planned on jumping, but he still wanted to meet him, walking up to him and sitting by his side as they both looked out into the night. “why did you leave so soon?” he mumbled, wanting to know what happened that made him storm out of the party, even if it had taken him almost an hour to find him.

          ‘ because i trust that you’ll tell me the truth , the whole truth , & nothing but the holy truth ⎯⎯ ‘ he pauses , glancing at @romancemoon​ across the table in front of him , ocean sight squinting comically in question , ‘ ⎯⎯ do these sunglasses make me look like a douche who drives an audi but i don’t use my signal when i merge lanes OR do i look like i belong at a rooftop party on a summer afternoon in west hollywood? please think hard. ‘ | liner call for virote.

"I get a lot of ingrown hairs. All over. But there's this one next to my left nipple that just keeps coming back. I forget about it for awhile but then something starts itching and pretty soon I can’t leave it alone. You're a lot like that for me." @romancemoon

    Honestly, the question took him off GUARD a little. 

    Niko usually wasn’t someone who was quick with compliments or exactly filled with PRETTY words, but he knew he was more distant than he often realized. Old walls and barriers that he hadn’t found the will or time to dismantle or knock down–even those closest to him usually weren’t let TOO far in. Some things he never wanted people to really know too well. The thought made him want to retreat, brush off the question with a shrug and a ‘I like you, is that not enough?’ Yet, he knew it was more than just that. 

    Virote had asked. 

    “...Well, I do not know what makes my time so special. Sometimes I feel I should be asking you that.” 

    Which was the truth of the matter–Niko felt like he was the odd one out in their relationship. He stuck out in Los Santos, not that he tried much to fit in. Felt it was too much of a LOST CAUSE. Yet, when Virote invited him to the sets, walked around the city with him, it became pretty apparent. Niko often didn’t really care what other people thought of him, but it was hard not to feel a little out of place. So, really Virote asking him as if Niko required that HE have some sort of special quality about him to be worthy of his time was…a little ODD. 

    Still, he let his previous statement linger for a moment as he thought before turning to glance back toward him. 

    “You are…smart, understanding, funny…You treat me like a person, showed me kindness and understanding–more than I deserve, probably. I do not think you need some…special reason for me to be able return that. I enjoy spending time with you, being with you.”

14. Do you have a routine that helps you prepare to work on your writing? 27. Are there any writing habits others may have that you find frustrating or exhausting?

14 was answered! so i'll do 13. Are you more comfortable writing in private or public spaces? Why or why not?

private spaces, specifically at home but that might just because i'm stuck there 4 now. i can write in both settings though- all i need is a laptop and headhphones for video game music. i will say though, i'm more comfortable with writing in a familiar space, so private spaces it is.

27. Are there any writing habits others may have that you find frustrating or exhausting?

this might be specifically an rp thing, but i do find it more difficult to respond to long threads that are purely just dialogue and physical action. i like writing about character interiority and i always make a point to try and include some kind of thought about my partner's muse in that interiority...so when my thread partner doesn't do that or specficially talks solely about their muse or only shallowly mentions my muse, i lose inspiration for the thread fast. it makes me feel like my character is just a prop for the other person and then i feel used...

basically, writers who make their response all about their muse and don't try to include the other person's muse in some meaningful way. can't do it. threads are like conversations- the best ones are the ones where both parties are invested and involved.

Virote never did like being open about any sort of weakness, especially somewhere that he was powerless. ❝I'd like to go home. I'm just not sure how I'll get there. Thank you for letting me tag along, though.❞

            ❝   Quiet.  ❞   His voice commands with an arrogant hint, all the whilst an arm is outstretched to stop Virote from advancing any further.  To a normal man the village ahead seemed quaint,  although desolate without a single soul to greet them.  Shoddy rooftops with gnarled chimneys crowned poorly constructed houses,  leaving barely but livestock and shattered furniture to decorate what little seemed visible.

Guts turned his attention to the far away end of the village,  as if trying to see something skulking amidst the dark.  It is there and then,  breaching through dead silence,  a woman’s shriek booms across the vicinity.  She keeps begging for help but Guts makes no attempt to move,  almost as if he knew something was entirely amiss.

@romancemoon gets a starter!! 

    hiroto was NOT in a good mood. he absolutely loathed traveling for business. not only was he forced to spend a long amount of time with his family, but he had to put on an image that he really cared about technology. his interests were not on that side of the family business. he barely even remembered the reason his family found themselves in california. something about working with a large american company on a new software his father had been working on. hiroto tagged along to meetings and played nice, but once the meetings were over it was a different story. 

   he carefully moved down the hallway of the hotel, slipping out of the front doors unnoticed by family or guards. he figured he would do his own RESEARCH while he was here in the evenings. what was life like in america?? for the gifted and the quirkless?? hiroto is briefly distracted by the ping of his phone, opening up a group message of students from his school, all inquiring about the trip and how it was going for him so far. his eyes rolled, fingers tapping away a response on the screen. that was until he collided with someone on the street. his eyes went wide as he watched his phone drop to the ground. eyes narrow as they scan up the stranger that he had walked into. 

    “EXCUSE YOU.” he says coldly, bending down to pick up his phone. thankfully it was not damaged, however that would not have been much of a concern to him anyway.
