Seeking Persephone Headcanons
While Adam and Persephone do not have chickens just outside their door, Harry and Athena do. Harry takes great pleasure in naming them after the most obscure characters from Greek mythology.
Persephone is on Adam’s right 90% of the time when around large groups of people. Since Adam can hardly hear on his right side, Persephone listens for him. She’ll subtly squeeze his arm when someone is addressing him from that side so Adam knows to turn. (They have distinct squeezes for when the person speaking is someone Adam would like to engage in conversation with and when it’s someone he would ignore even if he could hear them. I’ll leave you to guess which one they use more.)
Adam stays by Persephone's bedside throughout the labor and delivery of both their children. A newer maid or the doctor from several counties over may have tried to bar him from the delivery room for propriety's sake, but one thunderous look from the Dangerous Duke ends that line of thinking. (None of the Falstone Castle staff would've dared to keep the duke from his wife under any circumstance, ever.)
Adam nearly falls apart when he sees Hestia's ear just after she's born. It isn't until Persephone brushes her fingers over Hestia's head and murmurs, "She's perfect," that Adam releases a breath.
Adam munches box (and loves it). Harry munches box (but he prefers any position where he can kiss Athena's face). James doesn't know what munching box is until Daphne sneaks a copy of La Matinée Libertine onto his desk. (She stole it from Adam's book room. Adam thinks Artemis stole it.)
