Send me “No, no, no, don’t die on me!” for a scenario in which my muse dies protecting yours.
He wasn’t afraid, nor did he regret blocking the blow to his friend. Anything was better than seeing the ones he cared about hurt. Even gaining scars that made him feel even worse about himself.
That didn’t matter right then and there, though. What did matter, was that his friend was alright. Taking in a shallow breath, he leaned against his friend, and sighed heavily.
“Y.. You’re okay.. right..?” He could only hope..
“D-don’t.. worry about.. me.. I’ll be.. okay in.. a few hours.. S-sorry..” Now, he didn’t want to die there just yet, so he fell silent, resting most of his weight against Romano. He just hoped Romano had the sense to lower him to the ground before he fell.
