Yes, I would also write platonic preferences if someone were to request a scenario/preference in which they ask for it to be platonic (if you would like a platonic twist on a preference, send it in!). Otherwise, my default is typically on the romance spectrum.

In general, though, I am running out of preference ideas, so I'd very much appreciate any links to lists or ideas for more! I have several preferences in my drafts but beyond that my idea box is running low.

Headcanon: Liselle‘s romantic preferences

Liselle does not hold any prejudice against pureblood relationships like many asari do. This is for multiple reasons. Liselle herself is the offspring of two asari (and has been aware of this for a while) and her mother has always been tolerant of such relationships. Unlike most asari in asari space, Liselle was not raised to view pureblood relationships as something to be ashamed of.

In general, on Omega, there is relatively little stigma against relationships between two asari. With a population that doesn‘t give many fucks about social taboos, quite a few asari think that the appeal of Omega is that you can freely live in an asari/asari relationship without much stigma from the outside world. Omega is perhaps the place with the highest amount of asari/asari couples.

Liselle is an asari who is not ashamed to admit she is attracted to other asari. While she is attracted to many different species, she prefers either her own species or species that resemble her own. She is partial to batarians, for the reason that they‘re familiar, making up a large part of Omega‘s population. She also likes the fact that many of the batarians living on Omega are rebels that have come to oppose and flee the Hegemony. She admires that strength.

Moreover, having lived on Omega for centuries Liselle had the opportunity to meet non-slavers batarians and learn more about their culture outside of slavery, something she finds intriguing.

While there are exceptions (Paul Grayson), Liselle is typically more attracted to human women than to men, but in general she‘s capable of being attracted to any gender and most species. She doesn‘t find herself to have the patience though, to date any elcor.

So I have been questioning my romantic preferences as it keeps changing. Is it normal for that to happen (romantic attractions to genders changing frequently)? Also, currently, what would it be called if I would get romantic attractions to a person (or not) and if said person shows any signs of liking back, I'll immediately lose the attraction?

My first though was Polyromantic tbh because you have the characteristics of other romantic preferences which is the closest possible romantic preference I can link to the information you have provided me.

I’m sure there’s a name for liking someone then not liking someone after finding out they like you back. Followers, can you remember the name of this romantic preference ‘cause it’s completely gone over my head.
