Gentle Reminder (Baltimore based label) is back with a new release from Romantic States (Baltimore, Maryland).  This is a two-person band - although this release sounds like there is a bass.  If you like The Spinanes or Young Marble Giants (there is an obvious minimalist nature to these songs), you’ll find a lot to like with Romantic States.

I’ve posted about Gentle Reminder before - Saturday Night is one of my favorite recent purchases.  I don’t know how they’ve cultivated a relationship with the Swedish pop band The Embassy, but they do have some cassette releases from them.
