Creating a degree of seasonal change requires some garden artistry, choosing deciduous plants, and maybe some autumn color to create an illusion, but really, January mostly looks like this. My enormous carob trees, probably as old as the house, have made a small forest that surrounds the Cabana, enclosing it in evergreen arms. The Iceberg roses, a little leggy in their understory, bloom continually until they get cut back, usually a little later in the month. Kawachi Fuji Gardens, Kitskyushu, Japan 🇯🇵 #BeautyOfNature #RomanticGardens #FlowersForTwo #TrueLove #BucketList 📷Photo by @beauteria #Repost @unique.wonderful.world ・・・ Kawachi Fuji Gardens in Kitakyushu, Japan (5 hours from Tokyo by train) is famous for its large numbers of spectacularly presented wisteria flowers. The garden is open to the public seasonally during the wisteria season which usually peaks around late April to mid May and during the maple leaf season in autumn. The gardens are home to about 150 Wisteria flowering plants spanning 20 different species (white, blue, purple, violet-blue and pink). This one is looking a bit unreal, but so beautiful!
