“Logan, do we really need to get this many notebooks?” Roman groaned. They were back to school shopping together, and Roman was not enjoying it.

Logan turned to look at his boyfriend. No matter how much he might love him, Roman would not cease complaining. “Yes, Ro. It’s essential to be properly organized for each class. That way, it’ll be hard to get off-track with your work.”

“But do we really need 20?” Roman pouted. “I only have 5 classes!” Also, he would never be able to keep track of which is which. Logan, however, would most likely have no problem.

Logan smiled softly. “I know you don’t have that many classes,” he explained in a low, quiet voice, “but remember all the electives and clubs I’m participating in?” He would need more than twice as many supplies as Roman for everything he was doing.

Roman’s face gained a mask of understanding. “Oh yeah, I briefly forgot you were such a nerd.” Logan’s eyes flashed with shock and anger before realizing that his boyfriend was flirting with him.

Roman grinned, his pearly white teeth showing, and pulled Logan into a kiss. “Now come on, I need a sparkly one. Gotta look good while taking notes.”
