My pride and joy!

This shawl has been a LONG time coming - most of it was knitted in the summer of 2022, then the border was on and off forever. Then she lived in a drawer for months while I tried to work up the guts to block her… But I am THRILLED to finally have her finished.!!

This shawl is truly so lovely, soft and cosy - it’ll be my writing shawl come autumn! Couldn’t be more happy with the result, the pattern is simply gorgeous.

Thanks to my dad for taking artsy photos for me!! :D

Currently working on the Mesa Sweater Wrap by Romi Hill for a Christmas present.

I’m using Miss Babs’ Caroline and maaaaaaaan that’s just the softest yarn and it has a slight halo that I expect will bloom once I’ve washed and blocked the project. It’s super soft, it’s squishy, it’s bouncy, the colours are gorgeous, it doesn’t tangle, it grips just enough so my stitches don’t ladder when I drop them. 10/10 do recommend!
