Apparently, leftover campaign shirts from Mitt Romney's presidential run are being put to good use in Kenya. Philanthropist Cyndy Waters founded a charity, The Orbit Village Project, that provides clothes and housing to impoverished Kenyans, and it just so happens that Waters' nephew worked for Romney's campaign last year. After the election, the nephew had a bunch of shirts left over, and so Waters gave them to the Kenyan kids. "It was a big deal that they could pick between short or long sleeved and blue and white," Waters said. "For an African youth from such an impoverished area to pick out something new is very rare.” (Image credit: Orbit Village Project) source

Wed August 29, 2012 I saw Bob Schieffer interviewing Mitt Romney on CBS news. He asked Romney how he planned to balance the budget without raising taxes. Romney said he would get rid of Obamacare, and cut "entitlements," including Medicare, Medicaid, PBS, Planned Parenthood, Amtrak, and Endowment for the Arts. Schieffer asked if this wouldn't be merely a drop in the bucket, and what about the Pentagon budget. Romney demurred, saying that cuts in "nonessential" programs would be adequate. His answer was so disconnected from the average voter's concerns, and so devoid of an effective political message, even though it is one the eve of the convention, that I predict here and now that Romney can't win.

Since some of us are thinking back on the 2012 US election today.... He never shook up his Etch-a-Sketch, did he?

So a today I was in the car with my dad. We were at a red light and the car in front of us had a Romney Ryan sticker. We both just started laughing hysterically.

Finally bought some suppies for my Romney/Ryan Christmas ornaments! :D

They will be patriotic themed with red white & blue. I will post them as soon as I am done and will take orders! I think $15 - $20 may be the price. ALL MONEY GOES STRAIGHT TO VETERANS. You can choose if you want it to go to Service Dogs For Veterans too!
