          the thing you should know is he’s PISS drunk. like — can’t sit down because the world starts to spin uncontrollably piss drunk. he’s on the back porch of their friend’s house because he needed to distance himself from the noise. penn doesn’t need to turn around to know that he’s been followed, and the thought is equal parts comforting and nerve-wracking. because the thing is, they HAVE to talk about it — — or, at least, he has to talk about it. he’s silent for a moment as he tries to collect himself, but it’s hard when he can’t stop pacing. ‘ so. we gonna talk about it ? ’ okay, there. solid place to start.

     the friends that he had kept in contact with from school all talked about online dating, and it piqued quinten’s interest. he knew that it was a big deal for people who weren’t, well, famous. it was a boring night, for him, laid up in his hotel room with some very boring movie in the background as he scrolled through his phone. that was when he’d found himself downloading an app, then leading to him signing up. it was harmless, at first, he didn’t think it would go anywhere and he’d be deleting the silly app after about a weeks time. he’d received messages mixed with calling him fake and flirting with him, so when he’d stumbled onto their profile, he was intrigued. sending the first message seemed risky, but he did it anyways. months had went by, and he’d finally been able to arrange for them to meet -- which he was ecstatic about. it was hard to do much without paparazzi on his ass, constantly, so he’d snuck into the small coffee shop, hoping to lay low as best as he could. a smile lit up his face when he saw them walk in, pushing himself from his chair as he went to engulf them in a massive hug.

        there’s too much alcohol in his system for him to think straight, vision blurring at the edges and the distinct feeling of catching up just a second late to the world as gael swayed ( stumbled, actually ) in the midst of a mass of bodies too big for the size of the room. being there was uncharacteristic. he hated parties. still, the pull of the other’s company proved too strong of an argument for him to counter. he’s been craving a smoke for hours, but they haven’t left his side and his desire to move away grew smaller every time their bodies pushed closer together, his arms wrapping around the other every now and then as if it was a happy accident caused by the circumstances. he was too off beat, too uninterested in the rhythm for his movements to be considered dancing, but it gave gael an excuse to touch, remain close; and though he thought the other had been uninterested, the small signs he got throughout the night caused him to reconsider. “you told me you wanted to just be friends,” he said, speaking up so he would be heard over the music blaring from someone’s stereo. it was a statement; his voice carried no bitterness, no resentment. gael didn’t believe rejection stung that much. “but i’m not sure if i believe you.” // @romvnholiday

dallas had arrived home from college just a couple of days ago, his bags still to unpack through the floor of his room. the light of day was just shining through the blinds, hearing coming from the outside making him reach for his phone to check the time, the reaction to the marked time being his head hitting back on his pillow as he reached to take his hair back, taking a deep breath before the covers were off and he pulled himself up. dallas could only bother to pick up a shirt before he left his room, only his boxers to cover up. “ morning. ” he had just put his shirt on as he walked into the kitchen, his ponderous voice, selling away how he had just woken up. pulling his hair back he walked straight to the fridge, failing to realize who was with him in the room.
