Espo is my all time favourite hockey player (Duguay was my second favourite. His hair was glorious to watch as he skated. Those were the days before helmets were required.) And it helps that Espo had played for Chicago (for the gentleman), Boston (for friends and neighbors), and New York, where I had the pleasure of seeing these guys play rather often (my boss at the time was in charge of the corporate box at MSG, and he’d let me have the tix when no one else needed/wanted them). Good times.
