Losene Keita vs Ronald Paradeiser 2 | OKTAGON 65: Tipsport Gamechanger 2
It has been a minute since a prospect this promising has joined the UFC (sorry Pico), but former Oktagon FW and LW champion Losene Keita (16-1) is set to make his UFC debut this week!
Keita is a Guinean fighter out of Belgium who has been tearing up the European circuit, specifically in Oktagon (arguably the continent's biggest MMA promotion). Outside of a loss in 2023 due to a foot injury, Keita has run rough shot over there. 10 of his 16 wins come by TKO. At 27 years old, Keita should be entering the prime of his career. And while I'm sure there will be an adjustment period while he faces more skilled and athletic talent, I'm excited to see him mix it up with some top 15 talent.
First on the docket, Keita will face off with former Bellator FW/LW champion Patricio Pitbull (37-8) as the UFC heads to Paris for UFC Fight Night: Imavov vs. Borralho this Saturday (Sept. 6).
