Other Poison Devils || Rona & Felix
The seething crowd of Capitol citizens moved like bloated maggots. Felix stood to the side of the room, a cold bottle of beer clutched in his hand as the smell of perfume and wine floated around him, thick and heady. He hated these Capitol parties, but women liked to take him out and hang off his arm as he offered polite smiles and forced conversation, patiently capturing moments where his hand slid too far up his date's thigh, or he could press up against her and let her feel the bulge of his cock against her back as they stood in a crowded room pretending they weren't going to rip each other's clothes off later.
His date that evening was a woman he hadn't been with before. She was tall and leggy and when she smiled at him it was like she was begging him to take her, a sweep of her tongue across her lip and a gentle bite of her teeth against the flesh of her natural mouth. She was perfect. But he could wait for her. He'd lost her amongst the other party guests but she'd find him when she wanted him.
Felix pushed off from the wall he was leaning against and wound his way towards a table, eyeing up an empty seat. He narrowed his eyes as another man slipped into the chair before he got there, an older gentleman who immediately turned to the young dark-haired girl Felix hadn't noticed until then. She looked uncomfortable for a moment as the man leaned towards her as though to whisper a secret through sibilant lips and Felix strode forwards, setting his hand on the man's shoulder. Both him and the girl looked up at him. Felix looked at her for a moment, vaguely recognizing her. She wasn't the only celebrity present at the party, but she looked much too young amongst the older guests, around people like himself.
"You're in my seat," Felix told the man shortly, his eyes resting on his face, taking in the unpleasant ruddiness of his jowly cheeks. He'd clearly been drinking and his eyes were slightly unfocused as he gazed up at the broad-shouldered mentor. Felix gave a slight smirk, lifting a brow expectantly. "That means get up."
The man cleared his throat and stood, stepping around Felix when he didn't move aside. Felix shook his head and grabbed the chair, pulling it out and sitting down, putting his beer bottle down on the table in front of him. He pushed blunt fingers through his hair and looked at the girl again, drinking in her features and her blue eyes. Her hair was so dark it was like night. He preferred hair the colour of sunlight, but she was still quite pretty. So young, too.
Felix held his hand out to her. "I'm Felix," he said with a slightly bored smile. "Have we met somewhere? I feel like I've seen you before."
