I think about light pollution a lot. Especially in an apocalyptic New York, can you imagine? All the stars that can only be seen after the city has fallen, one of the few beautiful things that will last through all their lives, will not change even after this world ends.

You fight for these buildings to stand, but some nights you can't help it, you remember when they were in ruins and your family stood by your side instead.
