Made the terrible decision to start thinking about my homestuck kokichi and how his design didn't really lean into straight jacket which led to me thinking about those straight jacket escape magic, which then led me to

which then turned into

"he's the leader of his troupe so he needs to be pretty badass and take hilarious risks to keep his power and to keep people from looking deeper because literally only one member of his troupe is actually purple...and that one's the one pretending to be the slave rust"

Im still constantly rotating my homestuck au in my head for the record, i am doing that, interesting fact about Kokichi's tower, its upside down! specifically the derse of the v3 gang looks a bit like this

and that one on the very bottom? its kokichi! None of the other derse kids even know he's there! The Secret Sylph is known to to the dersites, but even they only whisper about him. They say he's not awake, but when he leaves his tower in sleepwalking he'll remember everything he hears and that's how he knows so many secrets. They say if you whisper your secret to the Secret Sylph in his sleep he'll keep it safe for you until it's time for it to be properly used to his aid
