Chris Mooney, Indre Viskontas, and Adam Isaak, the two co-hosts and producer respectively of the Center for Inquiry podcast Point of Inquiry announce their resignation in protest of Ronald Lindsay's Women in Secularism 2 opening remarks and subsequent actions. Their resignation had been submitted to management the day before Ronald Lindsay's apology.

Women in Secularism 2 speakers Amy Davis Roth, Stephanie Zvan, Amanda Marcotte, Greta Christina, and Rebecca Watson accept Ronald Lindsay's apology for his opening remarks via posts on their respective blogs.

Following "a heartfelt apology in person to CFI staff and branch leaders", Ronald Lindsay publishes his apology for his opening remarks at the Women in Secularism 2 Conference on the Center for Inquiry's blog.

In a blog post on the conference website, Skepticon 6 organizer Lauren Lane announces that:

However, after witnessing the actions of one of our years long sponsors, the Center for Inquiry (CFI), it has come to our attention that, in order to uphold the values that we have come to embody and endorse, we will no longer accept their sponsorship.

Women in Secularism 2 speaker Stephanie Zvan announces she is will no longer donate to or otherwise support the Center for Inquiry national organization. Instead, she earmarks her previous monthly pledge to Melody Hensley's salary.

Women in Secularism 2 speaker Greta Christina announces she is cutting all of her ties with the Center for Inquiry's national office. This includes her Free Inquiry magazine column, returning her honorarium for the talk she gave at the Amherst headquarters the weekend prior, and also withdrawing as a speaker at the upcoming October conference in Tacoma, Washington. However, she expresses willingness to support or speak at any Center for Inquiry local branches that invite her.

On its official twitter account, the Center for Inquiry acknowledges that "much debate and discussion" have occurred as a result of Ronald Lindsay's opening remarks at Women in Secularism 2 and states that no comments will be made until after the June 13-14 scheduled board meeting.

Following the Center for Inquiry board's statement which "says nothing", Rebecca Watson withdraws her support for the Center for Inquiry and calls on others do the same.
