I just updated Minecraft to 1.7 after like a year of not playing it because I am an addict.
Usually I would have waited until Winter break to start playing again, but I had started watching 1.7 reviews. I was curious to see all the new biomes. Now, guys, I haven't been back on this game since probably before last summer, maybe sooner than that. I, at least, had not updated it.
I ended up in a roofed forest, and DEAR GOD IT WAS GORGEOUS!!!
This was SUCH A BAD IDEA!! I have finals in two weeks guys. This was just supposed to be a trial run fro winter break, to see if I could find a horse. I ended up building a mushroom house, and there was so much above ground lava that I am starting an obsidian factory within a day of playing. This is awful.
Mojang has, once again, ruined my life by making their game AMAZING!!
Like, this is an entirely new Minecraft. I have had Minecraft since it costed like 14 dollars for the Beta, WAAAAAAYYYY early back before like even character skins, texture packs, it was bare minimum.
This game has grown up so much, and dear god I am so proud of it. Like, the new look of everything is gorgeous, I can't get over the roofed forest. Giant mushrooms, huge trees, and my favorite, the ability to literally walk on the canopy of the forest itself!! Ugh, I love this game guys. It will be the end of my academic career for sure, because Minecraft just got like the BIGGEST growth spurt since the Adventure update!!!
