Frank Iero and The Future Violents - "Basement Eyes" | Rooftop Riots (X)
Watch Waterparks Perform “Lucky People” On Our Rooftop And Discuss ‘Entertainment’
Unless you’re new to the site, you should probably already know that The Noise are big supporters of Waterparks. We mean, have you seen all the interviews we’ve done with them lately?
Anyway, looking to hang with our new pals Awsten, Geoff and Otto again, we invited the pop-punk three-piece over to our offices to perform on our Hollywood rooftop and discuss their infectious new album Entertainment.
Relive Waterparks’ Intimate Rooftop Performance of “Lucky People”
Waterparks fans! Continuing where we left off with iDKHOW, Knocked Loose and Chon, welcome to another installment of our “From The Vault” series.
Look Back On I Dont Know How But They Found Me’s Rooftop Performance of “Social Climb”
iDKHOW fans! As promised, continuing where we left off with the band’s previous video for “Bleed Magic,” welcome to another installment of our “From The Vault” series.
For those who are new, let us explain: Looking back at some of the incredible shoots we’ve been a part of over the years – like our 2019 rooftop session with I Dont Know How But They Found Me – we realized we still had some pretty awesome content to share with everyone.
And now, with things being as strange as they are with no real end in sight, we figured what better time than today to shine a light on some of these hidden gems.
So, in attempt to give you all something to distract from the fucked up world we’re currently living in, we are stoked to share a standalone look at Dallon Weekes and Ryan Seaman performing their fan-favorite track “Social Climb.”

Watch Stray From The Path’s New Live Rooftop Performance of “Kickback” and “Second Death”
After filming a good amount of rooftop performances over the past couple years, one thing The Noise has always wanted to do was have a hardcore band up on our roof to absolutely annihilate things. Thankfully, that dream has now become a reality thanks to Long Island noisemakers Stray From The Path.
Watch Counterparts’ New Live Performance of “Love Me” & “Wings of Nightmares” From Their Latest LP ‘Nothing Left To Love’
If you’re reading this, you’re probably well aware by now that Counterparts’ new album Nothing Left To Love is easily one of the best records of 2019.
With punishing breakdowns, technical musicianship and brooding lyricism, Counterparts have somehow found a way to top 2017′s critically acclaimed LP You’re Not You Anymore.
Looking to show off some of the hard-hitting tracks from their new sixth studio album, Counterparts stopped by our Noise office to perform both Nothing Left To Love’s emotional opening track “Love Me” as well as their passionate lead single “Wings Of Nightmares.”
Talking with The Noise all about the fiery track “Wings Of Nightmares,” frontman Brendan Murphy said, “I guess a specific person inspired it but for the most part, it's talking about people in your life that you keep around and you don't really know why. Like, you have these people whether it's a friend or someone in a business relationship or it's romantic or whatever. We all have these people that are sort of in our lives and we just don't really know why.”
“It's definitely a topic we've talked about before and I think it's one that's very relatable for everybody,” Murphy added. “It's just about working up the courage to be able to tell somebody, ‘Yo, fuck off.’ Like, ‘I don't fucking want you around.’ Or on the flip side, dealing with being told ‘I can't be around you. I don't want anything to do with you.’ Like that type of shit.”
“It's about specific things and people that have come into my life and left whether it was my decision to stop the relationship or theirs,” Murphy stated. “It's about realizing how better off your life can be when you just let the shit go.”
To check out Counterparts’ powerful performance of “Love Me” and “Wings Of Nightmares” as well as behind the scenes shots from Noise contributor Rob Souza, be sure to look below. Afterward, make sure to grab tickets to see Counterparts out on tour with Stray From The Path and more here.
