You noticed letter on Neve’s desk. It seems written in Bellara’s handwriting:

Hey, Neve!

Remember how I was upset after losing my toolset on last mission in Arlathan ruins?

I found them! Well, not actually me. Virida did it.

Today, when I came back to my room, my lost equipment was on the table with silly note next to it!

I want to properly thank Virida for spending her free time just to find it.

How do you think, what would be the best? Nice meal or maybe something useful? Like new sketchbook? Or maybe something for her blades?

Small note was attached to letter. Written by Virida:

“Be careful next time!”

5 Pluitanis, 9:45 Dragon My fingers ache like they never have before. When Mother told me she would train me for what is to come, I imagined something more…glamorous. Dagger training with Uncle Zev or maybe even sword training with Thom before he leaves for the Wardens for good this time. Even magic training with my mothers. That's why they brought me here after all. To learn different kinds of magic; everything that might be useful. Necessary to face the road ahead. Instead I am transcribing notes. Journals upon journals of notes. Mother hands me a book and expects me to become an expert. Fade tuning. Dragon anatomy and nesting habits. Politics, oh the amount of politics that she expects me to learn and care about. Why should I care about why a blowhard noble matters more than other blowhard nobles? And, of course, she never tells me why any of this matters. It's always the same when I ask. "I am preparing you for the future but I cannot tell you of the future. In the end you will decide your path with no interference from me." I wish she would tell me something but she only ever asks if I trust her. Of course I do. I entrusted her with my life years ago and I still do now. I just want to know what I might come up against. When I'm not reading and taking notes, I'm meditating. Apparently, not only am I to be well-learned, but I am to be strong of mind as well. One day, I suppose all of this will make sense. I can only hope I really will be prepared for what comes.
