Little descriptions of the different rooms in Affectiontale, written for the RP server

Starting Room

When you land, you’d be in what appears to be a field of small, soft pink blooms- the flowers must have broken your fall, somehow. A single shaft of pure white light shines down in the very center of the room

There is a path through the flowers to what seems like a door- the flowers stop at that point.

Flowey’s Room

In the center of the room there appears to be one single golden-yellow bloom in a small patch of grass that has grown up through the rocky floor of the cave. Beyond the flower is another doorway

The Ruin’s Entrance (The room that I drew!)

Upon entering the room, you can see just up ahead two grand-looking staircases on either side of the room. They led up to one large door in the center of the wall

Within the room, you see between the two staircases a small patch of soft pink flowers, softer in color than the flowers in the previous room.

In the center of the room is what appears to be a fairy circle of both colors of flowers as well as soft purple blooms.

There appears to be something softly shining on the ground between the fairy circle and the flower patch

The Dummy

In this room, this is only one simple dummy- it’s head seems to be drooped slightly.

But..it’s just a dummy..?

Puzzles (because I forgot all the actual puzzles there were)

Puzzles, but not as expertly crafted as the ones by Papyrus. But you don’t know that yet. You’ll know eventually.

Corridor

Just a long corridor. The floor has a path, and a single pillar on the far end. Even from here you can see behind the pillar

The Candy Bowl

In the center of the room, there is a pedestal with a single beam of light shining down on it. It almost looks like it might be an artifact or....

But upon closer inspection, it’s just a bowl of candy

A note on the pedestal says ‘Help Yourself!! (:’

The Cheese Room (Originally planned to be The Flower Room)

In this room there’s just a single block of cheese on the table, and a mousehole. There seems to be something shining on the ground

Napstablook

The room is someone oddly shaped, seeming to almost be two rooms in one- the walls coming in to almost close- it was a plenty large enough space for an entire group to walk through. Or it would be, if there wasn’t a large, baby blue ghost laying in the center of the room, seemingly napping on one of the many present beds of soft pink flowers

Spider Bakesale

There are webs in each corner of this room, each glimmering in their own soft color- though mostly in golden-yellows and light silvers. There is a sign between two of the webs, reading;

In the far corner, there is a little white parasol table set up with a couple delicate-looking chairs around it, for a small group to dine at together

The Four Flowerlings (Flowerlings are a Monster species I made for Affectiontale- more on that soon. This is the replacement of The Four Froggit’s room)

Upon entering the room, you first see three soft pink flower fae, all seeming to be carnations- they’re just bobbing in their place, and smiling happily at.. something. Maybe it’s you.

Almost impossible to see, another small flowerling is growing within the crack of a wall

City Overlook

The pathway leads to a ledge that seems to overlook a city- there is a raggedy blanket on the ground nearby, seemingly dropped by somebody in a rush

Giant Tree

Upon entering the area, the first notable thing is a giant tree with pink blossoms. Petals seem to be falling constantly from tree and growing back immediately, falling down into a large pile of pink petals below the tree

Beyond the tree there appears to be a cozy little house. There is something shiny in the flower bushes next to the house

Entryway and Hallway

When you first enter the house, you see the staircase down into the basement directly ahead. To the left is a living room, and you can see a kitchen past that from here. To the right is a hallway. The hallway has four doors, a mirror, and a table with a small cherry-blossom bonsai on it. The furthest door is blocked off.

The Fireplace Room

The living room. There is a table in the left corner, against the front wall, with two chairs neatly pushed in the open sides. There is a brick fireplace, lit with a pinkish fire, with a comfortable looking rocking chair right in front of it. To the north is the entrance to the kitchen, from where you can smell a sweet scent

Kitchen

Within the small kitchen there is a counter, sink, cabinets, and fridge. On the counter is a large pie in a floral-design pie tin. For some reason, you get the feeling that you wouldn’t be able to take the whole pie by yourself.

Kid’s Bedroom

There are two beds within the bedroom, on opposite walls. Each bed has their own little throw rug to step off on- one green, one yellow. In the center of the room is a larger, round rug in a chartreuse color, with a wicker basket of toys in the middle. The room seems a little dusty with disuse, and the beds seem a little small. But they should be fine for a good night’s rest

Toriel’s Bedroom

There is a large, Queen’s sized bed in the far left corner of the room. She has a wardrobe to the right of it, and a desk to the write of that. On the desk is a little vase with a small, golden flower.

Bathroom

A fairly simple and straightforward room, made just in the case of a fallen human. A shower/bath combo, a toilet, and a sink with a mirror above it. Though it’s questionable if any of it is hooked up. The entire room is covered in a layer of dust from disuse.

Blocked-Off Room

The room is filled with [secret] and boxes of [spoiler!]. The entire room is dusty from disuse, and smells of stagnant air from being untouched for so long.

  Basement

Down the first set of stairs is a soft purple corridor, that leads out into a square room- exit

Melody Manor Interactive~ The First Bedroom

The bedroom is large, with a big canopy bed that’s got a rusted frame, a door out onto a balcony, and a small makeup area for a few things. The walls are painted pink and there is dust looming in the air from the fan attached to the ceiling. There’s a light switch on the wall and the door out into the hall in view. Turning around, you see the wall you came through, which turned out to actually be a mirror on this side, a cold fireplace, and a few paintings hung up. It looks like it hasn’t been touched in years, and come to think of it, the room probably hasn’t been. You also see a closet door, shut tight. This must have been for a woman at somepoint. What do you do next?

I made a thing

The opposite corner of the room is a different story. The walls and rug are stained brown and red and there are scorch marks at random intervals along them, piles of randomly colored clothing are strewn about without any clear organization, various horrifying odors drifting soundlessly from them, old rotting wooden furniture is stacked carelessly against the edge of the space, ancient pizza boxes and beer cans litter the mass, some of which contain remnants of their disturbing past, dozens of broken and shattered picture frames thrown haphazardly about, each entombing its own unique girl smiling perpetually into her own existential void, and emerging from the mass there is a single extension cord reaching its way out towards the center of the enclosure where it snakes up the legs of the tripod and powers the camera.
