In late 2003, Armstrong and TSC instructed their Austin attorneys to negotiate a high dollar non-disclosure agreement with Armstrong’s then-wife, Kristin Armstrong, to prevent her from discussing her knowledge of, or participation in Armstrong’s cheating. On information and belief, the former Mrs. Armstrong was paid over $10 million not to disclose Armstrong’s cheating, and the non-disclosure agreement contains economic penalties for her if she breaches its terms.
