I don't believe that you should stop what you're doing and praise that anon for giving you critism? At least, thats what it seemed like they wanted you to do? It takes people time to develop their own style and by telling someone to completely rework their style to benefit you is not okay. I think your art is great, and you do what works best for you. You handled that criticism well. alot better than I would have, for sure. So kudos to you and don't stop doing what makes you happy love

Thank you!!!!!! That's what I was trying to say, but you put it together a lot better I think uwu Learning how to draw certain things (i.e. faces) takes time and development. Just because I'm not perfect now doesn't meant I don't think people will enjoy my artwork or something, and it doesn't mean that I don't enjoy it either. Anything that I post on my blog I post because I like it. There are multiple drawings that I've posted and I look at and scowl (the first drawing of Michael I did on his birthday, in example) because I realize mistakes. But I learn from those mistakes and improve (see: second drawing of Michael on his birthday). That's what art is. Do something, like it and/or don't like it, learn from it.

It takes time, effort, and patience from both the artist and the person appreciating the art uwu And I'd just like for everyone to understand that. I haven't learned everything yet, I'll never learn everything, but I am learning. I would show you guys a drawing from 3 months ago to prove it, but I won't, because that'd seem egotistical. But anyways, yeah, I might draw faces similarly now, but eventually they're going to become more detailed and stuff uwu

Yeah, I know... but I generally have tumblr.com/blog/thefaultinourserenity open at all times. just so i can refresh and check my tracked tags. It was convenient seeing them pop up on my /blog page
