[ ♡ ] —- - Donna smiled after pulling away from him and wrapped her arms around his waist. She would have gone for his neck, if only she could reach it. Unfortunately for her, she was almost half his size, and so she settled for lower. It made her feel warm and fuzzy being like this with him. Something she never felt, really, with anyone else before. It made her feel safe. 

She let him know this through a whisper. 〝I love you.〞

     There's blood on her face. There's blood everywhere. Her  clothes. Her hair. Olivia suspects there might even be blood  under her fingernails and the stench of iron lingers heavily in the air around her. The nearest body is only a few feet from where she hides, hands locked over her head as though that  will protect her.

        ---didn't protect the poor sap next to her who's head is an unrecognizable mess.

         Absently she thinks that the only thing that will identify  these people, whats left of them, will be their paint and tattoos.  Each unique its owner as per the los muertos tradition. Her  own paint, bright pink, is smeared slightly.

         She's shaking and sobbing quietly from where she hides, not even realizing that the screams and gunfire have finally subsided enough for her to be heard. She just wants it to be  over with.
