MSU Surplus Books has many items unique items other than books. This cabinet photo of an unidentified gentleman posed for a photo shoot is an example of the Victorian Era practice of capturing a last image of loved ones after death. As photography had recently become affordable to those of the middle and lower classes, these shots were often the only photographs ever taken of the subjects.
