John has always been a sweet loving man, very patient even though you can be a little much at times.

You were a housewife. No work except cleaning the house cooking and relaxing. John's paycheck was more than enough to keep you guys content with just his job. You of course, being the stubborn woman you were, insisted you keep your job to help provide. But john, being equally as stubborn, insisted just as much that you didn't have to work a grueling schedule at a job you hate anymore. John was more than happy to provide.

And just because you were a housewife didnt mean you were suddenly a trad wife, you still believed in feminism and john still treated you as his equal if not his higher up. John treated you with so much love and respect and would never let anything bad harm you in any way.

"What'd y' cook lovie, hm?" He asked in a soft loving tone as his hands rubbed your sides and eyes shone happily up at yours where you perched on his lap after he had brought you to the couch to relax and soak eachother in a moment..

You informed of your cooking and you both happily had supper, john scarfed down your cooking like it was heaven on earth, had about three servings of it. Much better than the mess hall shit he had been eating.

After supper you both went to the showers and you washed away all of the grime from him as he simply stared down at you like you were a goddess on earth and grinned like a lovesick fool. He washed your hair happily then your body, staying respectful despite maybe kneading or squeezing your tits every once in a while with a cheeky grin.

You both dried off and got into bed, john was too tired to do anything but hold you in his arms thst night, but dont be mistaken, the next morning when you both awoke, one thing led to another and he was draped across you head in the crook of your neck kissing and praising you and your being as a whole while his hips rocked into yours gently, in a soft slow rythem while his fingers rubbed your clit slowly. It was slow, soft, affectionate, only speeding up when you both got close, john filling up your warm gooey walls so deep it had you arching your back, every rock making your core flutter. He was perfect. And when you both were done after that for 4 rounds and 2 hours, you both had another shower together, kissing eachothers faces affectionately and muttering to eachother in the quiet golden light of the morning, then he of course make you breakfast thet morning and sat on the couch with you, watching your favorite movie with you despite not really paying attention, he just soaked up your love and wondered how he landed himself with such a beautiful and perfect woman.

Ranking Every 2023 Historical Drama on Costume Accuracy by Bernadette Banner :)

BB: Next up we have Season 2 Episode 3 of Good Omens which involves a flashback to Edinburgh, November the 10th 1827. So I was extremely impressed with this. The silhouettes are great, they've got those fantastic quintessential 1820s puffed shoulders on Crowley

this was a very high fashioned thing and a very sort of new fashion thing, it makes absolute sense that Crowley would be going for this really new sort of ostentatious fashion in men's wear and Aziraphale is sticking with the more classic great coat that's been around for a couple of decades by this point. They have absolutely committed to the men's hair of this period, the late 20s going into the 30s for men and women is just spectacular, it's a great period for hair, but they've got the fluff, they've got the sculpture, especially once again on Crowley who is just rolling with these outlandish fashion styles. Crowley I imagine would just slay the 1830s, I mean, we can already see he is going to. They've got the mutton chops. Love it! They've got the little M notch lapels which was a big thing during this period.

We've got fall front britches happening on Aziraphale we can see, which again is the period correct way to be closing of trousers at this point.

I love that they gave Crowley some slightly more period glasses for this period.

I do question where their corsets are, or at least for Crowley. Men's corsetry was a huge thing at this period - the ideal silhouette was for this nice like open rounded broad chest sliding into this tiny little waist for the men and high fashion men especially men that sort of subscribe to this very ostentatious high fashion for men - which Crowley is appearing to do in the show - would have been wearing a corset. I would have loved to see Crowley embracing that corseted look ,I absolutely believe he would have.
