I have been talking. NONSTOP. with @eggseventy about Zeemyth's ROOTHOUSE series. They've been transcribing all the videos over time: I went Past the Farlands, Backroom Shorts, All 3 Test Videos, and as of tonight Weird Door is the latest transcript.

And I am. SO convinced. Roothouse!Zee is some sort of robot who becomes organic through sybiosis with the hhouse. I don't even really know how to organize my thoughts about this and its super late here but I'm gonna try!

In the Weird Door video, he says it's an old world, but it doesn't really obey the rules of Minecraft. And he has a full hunger bar but doesn't heal. He comments on having food, but doesn't ever eat. AND LIKE. IT MAKES SENSE TO ME THAT IF HE WERE A ROBOT, HE WOULDN'T EAT BUT STILL TAKE DAMAGE THAT WON'T HEAL ITSELF.

But when he's in the hhouse, he gets so desperately hungry, but why is that? I think the hhouse is creeping into him, and that hunger isn't his. That's also why, to me, the cycle never fully ends; he carries a part of the hhouse with him when he gets out, and the 100 days video loops in on itself because a part of him is equally stuck in the hhouse as the hhouse is stuck in him. So then, after that, he "feels" hunger and other things that he wouldn't have before.

Which also, I think Roothouse!Zee goes on to become Redacted!Zee directly, like I think it's the same character. His second RSMP video is the one that really cements that for me, because the entity fucking with him just plays him like a fiddle using a lot of the hhouse's techniques. It plays a jukebox outside his base, it takes his dog, etc. All things that parallel moments from the Roothouse stuff in my opinion. And then you end the video and it's like. . . he's trapped in these weird hallways and stuff? So much to unpack. I need to rewatch that video.

I don't think this is canon to clarify I've just been thinking about this nonstop these last few days. An inhuman thing becomes more human, but not without suffering? In my saiintly apocrypha? yeah actually bird found in sky towel found in bathroom water found in ocean.

i was thinking about the "what happens when a HHouse grows sick?" bit again. and i would like to offer you some food for your thoughts

we don't know how many times zee goes through the same 23-day long looping cycle on going into the house and being spat out again, but we can assume it's a while right?

what if he started experiencing sickness during the cycles? the house is sick, and the longer you stay in a building like that the more likely you are to get sick as well. it wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility.

just a thought.
