I don't know if I've mentioned this but I've noticed the reason I don't ship a lot of canon M/F ships is because the writers never explain WHY the characters like each other.

I know people give the princess movies from Disney crap but for all the princes, I understood why they liked their respective princesses. Ya'll might think I'm crazy, but I think one of the best M/F ships I have seen in fiction comes from Shrek. I understand why Shrek adores Fiona and why Fiona was fine to stay an ogre if that meant she could be with Shrek.

I just feel like a lot of M/F ships are so badly written.

Lend a Hand

So as I’ve stated before, my job doesn’t pay much and I don’t have that many hours. So I’m trying to find ways to earn extra money so I can buy Christmas gifts, pay for my important stuff and not starve

I hate doing this but I’m really worried about this week. I’m also doing Instacart but weekdays are not the best days for deliveries.

So my birthday is my month and there is one thing I want more than anything?

I’m trying really hard to make writing be a full time job for me and I’d honestly rather work at home so buying this stories helps that. You can even gift my stories to people. Again, all I want for my birthday. Well, I want cake too but I can get that myself.

So as I’m finishing up the second volume of Monsterfucker, I have a craving to write another peice of erotica. The thing is I’m stuck between two ideas. Now both of these will be written sooner or later but I need to figure out which one I want to do.

My Next Door Neighbor is Hot: Aurelia has a problem and his name is Edgar MacDowell. Tall, handsome, British and all around hot, he lives right next door to her. What’s the problem? She wants him so bad it hurts. Her issue? She’s dealing with her stalker ex-boyfriend and to make matters worse, she keeps ending up in semi-sexual situations with Edgar. How much long can this go on?

I Want to Suck Your Tits:  Zephyr Sangre loves his girlfriend Winter with all of his undead heart but how did they meet? Did the sauve, sexy and mysterious lead singer of the Bleeding Hearts charm her on day one or is there more to the story than that?

Okay, so I’m gonna lie down, then work on my stories, try to finish them and also put up some of my dolls and Build-a-bears for sale. If I get anymore comissions, I’ll try to work on all of them. I can’t stay up tonight since I started a new job and have to go in at 9am. Keep your eyes posted.

So as a writer, a biracial brown woman and a bisexual woman, I’ve decided something.

I do think representation is important but I also think that if you’re writing certain characters that reflect you and are the characters you wished you had growing up, I think that’s okay. 

I do write characters that aren’t biracial brown women but I also have a lot of stories that feature that type of woman as the lead. Why? Because I didn’t have ANY biracial brown women as the leads growing up. The closest thing I had was probably Halle Berry as Storm and that’s a whole mess I won’t get into here. I also make almost all my characters bisexual for the same reason. And I don’t think I should feel guilty of this. 

Am I making sure that my writing is diverse? Yes, I am but I also want to give little me something along with the other biracial and bisexual girls who felt left out.
