Trying to relearn how to astral project. Just learned about what's called the "rope technique". But I can't stop thinking of the time in elementary school when I fell from one of the climbing ropes in gym class.
I landed on both hands palms first. I felt a sharp pain shoot all the way from my wrists, to my elbows, and my shoulder blades. I remember feeling like my hands to my shoulders were vibrating for quite some time after that until everything seemed normal again eventually.
Part of me thinks this is the main reason my wrists to my fingers can feel like they're locking/stiffening up at times. Which can make writing or drawing difficult and painful. And some days my hands are shaky because of it (some days worse than others). Cold weather also doesn't help, as it makes them stiffen easier.
Sometimes I feel the need to crack my wrists, knuckles, and elbows. Despite being told it's bad. But I've also heard it really doesn't do anything harmful either. But I do notice if I ignore those feelings, it feels like pain builds up in my joints. So I've continued to do it. But not overdo it.
Anyway. Just felt like sharing. Maybe it'll help me get it off my mind so I can continue trying this technique.
