Handcuffed and Alone
“You can’t keep me down here, you crazy witch!” muttered Gary, looking around at the damp stone walls as he found himself prodded down the cellar stairs by his gun-toting, short-skirted teenage kidnapper who had snatched him from his penthouse less than thirty minutes ago. “Wanna bet, creep?” she replied. “Now mind your tone, or I’ll slap some duct tape across that macho smart mouth of yours!” She gave him a shove, forcing Gary to stumble down the last couple of steps, unable to steady himself because of his cuffed hands. He landed on his knees and then looked over his shoulder to glower at his high school captress. She smiled unpleasantly at him. “Just how I like ‘em!” she remarked. “Strong and silent! See you, big man!” With that, the mysterious but decidedly unnerving young woman turned and ascended the steps again, closing the heavy door behind her with an ominous thud!
Gary was left - handcuffed and alone.

Who Is She Looking For?
“You care to take me through that again, pal?” asked Detective Rosemary Morris. “You seriously telling me that if I run the plates on all the vehicles in this ringer operation masquerading as a garage that none of them will turn out to be stolen and you have records of their owners that I can check out?”
Rod grunted uncomfortably. “I’m not saying that exactly, ma’am,” he tried to explain, “I’m just saying that maybe I have a couple of shady customers, but I run a legitimate business and if any of these autos are dodgy, it’s nothing to do with me!” The blonde and elegantly clad policewoman crossed her arms and gave the unhappy mechanic a wry look. “Ok, Roderick, let’s play it your way.” she smiled. “I will check every car out one by one.” Her blue eyes surveyed Rod’s garage. “I reckon there are at least a dozen vehicles here; it will take me about thirty minutes to check each one out. That’s six hours - you ok hanging around while I do that and compile your charge sheet as I go?” The handcuffed Rod, gasping now from the pain of his outstretched arms, shook his head. “Ma’am,” he said pleadingly. “Who are you after?” Rosemary beamed back at him. “A red Chevrolet brought in by a redhaired guy, about six feet tall, with two large scratches on its side.” she replied.
“Third car on the left under the tarp. Guy was called Felix.” Rod responded immediately. Rosemary smilingly patted her agonised prisoner on the cheek and wandered over to the tarpaulin-covered car. “Hey! You not gonna uncuff me?” protested the man, outraged. “Sure, sweetie. Once I get back.” she grinned. “Don’t worry - I’ll put your Closed sign up before I go!”

Mysterious
“Shhhhh!” the mysterious woman urged, clapping her hand firmly over Derek’s mouth as the man attempted to beg her for mercy. “No - no crying, no excuses, no telling me it wasn’t your idea… the die is cast and there is nothing you can do about it!” Derek looked at the red lipsticked mouth, terror beginning to envelop him as she removed her hand, searching her eye for mercy. “Please,” he sobbed, “I have kids….mmmmmph!” Derek’s pleading was interrupted by a cloth pushed far into his mouth and then she duct taped it cruelly into place. “Silence…” the woman told him quietly. “It will soon all be over.”
She walked over to the table and picked up a bottle of dark, evil-looking liquid. “You really don’t recognise me, do you?” she asked, smiling sweetly at her captive.

Door To Door
“There.” Catherine told Art with a note of satisfaction in her voice. “That should keep you immobile and quiet until morning.” Securely bound and gagged, the travelling salesman blinked up at the tall woman uncomprehendingly. “Don’t look so confused, honey,” Catherine told her captive with a mysterious smile, “you can tell me who you really are while I feed you breakfast in the morning. Until then, try to get some sleep.” She swept away with rustle of her silk dress, then paused at the door of the sparsely furnished room, her smile taking on a darker look. "After all - you'll probably need it." Then she was gone.
Art stared after her, suddenly mmmmphing desperately. Who was she? What did she want with him? All he did was sell kitchen appliances door to door… What was going on??

“What-what are you doing??”
“Just making you a little more comfortable, sweetheart - so we can have a little talk.”
There is a knock at the door.
“No, no, let me loose…mmmmmmmph!!!”
“Now you just keep quiet, lover, while I persuade whoever that is that there’s nothing to see here…”
“Just making sure, honey. Believe me, I’ll put a bullet through this pillow if you so much as squeak, OK?
Coming!”

Amusement
“Gee, Miss Elliot, I didn’t mean nothin’ by it,” said Tommy sadly, “you don’t need to keep me all roped up like this. I won’t give you no trouble while we wait till the sheriff gets here.”
Faith tested the young man’s bonds one last time. “You just sit tight here, Tommy,” she told him as she rose with a rustle of skirts. “I’ll be back with some vittles for you in about an hour. Hope you don’t mind being fed like a baby.” Tommy simply pouted at the school teacher as she walked out of the barn, an amused look on her face.

Keep It Closed
“Keep it closed, honey.” Lauren said snapping David’s jaws shut so he bit into the strip of cloth she had tied around his mouth. “That’s why it’s called a cleave gag, got it?” David almost sobbed at the humiliation. The woman smiled and stepped away from her prisoner. “I’ll just give you some time and then we can discuss again just why you left me.” Lauren walked across the room and closed the door on the bound man, leaving him alone. Terrified and disoriented, David nonetheless thought to himself: ‘Left you? But we only went out together for a fortnight, you crazy bitch!’
