Best thing from each of the shows at Sears tonight: Show 1- the makeup, holy crap. Glow in the dark zombie burn victims? Sign me up. Show 2- bisexual cake. The whole show was relatable but the one scene, omg. Also, I think the actress herself was bi (and a+tractive). Show 3- Everything technical. It was all in french so I didn't get the plot(s) but it was so amazing to watch.
I leave for Ottawa tomorrow so I probably won't have a chance to see the last homestuck update until the evening or maybe Thursday morning at the earliest. If I can see it during breakfast I will but here is my emotional contribution to the "Homestuck is ending tomorrow" chaos. I started reading it in 8th grade and it shaped a friendship I had not expected. I'm no longer in contact with that person but without them introducing the comic to me I likely wouldn't have connected with my first friends at school in 9th grade. I knew no one, so meeting people that i really got along with during the first day way great. The people I met through my interest in this comic and the characters in it have helped make me who I am today. Even though it doesn't hold the same interest now it'll be bittersweet to have it end. It's been a good run.

I remember when I read Fangirl I was so in love with the book, and I remember really wanting to read Carry On and the entire Simon Snow series, but then I became leery when I had someone point out to me that it was really just gay Harry Potter. And then Carry On became a thing and I finally read it and it was so not a gay Harry Potter. Of course there were similarities between them but it felt so different, in writing style, and characters and even the way the magic worked.
I want to more of Watford, especially knowing that there are cannon queer couples, and disabled students, and students and teachers of different species and races, and varied levels of magical ability, and family ties and feuds. And I want to know more about the compatibility of electronics and magic because they have cell phones and elevators and televisions.
Plus Carry On is supposed to be a fan written last book in a series and it’s being read without the rest of the series even existing which is really something.
I finally have a chance to watch the new gf episode. This and the baked apple I have going in the oven will be the perfect end to my night.
First show of the week was awesome! Too bad there were only around 14 people watching. Hoping that the shows the rest of the week have more of an audience.
Theatre blacks aka funeral meets casual Friday as I mourn for the loss of my social life outside of theatre, my grades and my healthy sleep patterns.
I don’t like my voice on recordings so on Thursday when my teacher is showing our ISU videos to the class I can either spend 3 minutes cringing at my awful voice overs or put my music in and just not watch my project being presented.
I don’t know why I waited until the weekend before school starts to write an 8 paragraph essay but I did and I hate all 10 pages of it.
