so rora is pretty friendly and welcoming and i can see her going up to see the potters after they’ve settled in?? plus, she knows what it’s like to lose your parents and be on your own in a weird place w/o them and so i think she knows how they are feelings. 

anyway, i think she’d reallllly like tess, despite the fact that jeremy anderson has a crush on her and rora still has feels for him, haha. but i think she’d think that tess is an incredible person and so strong and tbh she’d see a weird mix of her two older siblings in tess and they are the same age and i can see them being friends??

so i def think that rora knows that nick has given up a LOT for their little family, too, and she loves him so much for it <333 i do think she tries to make him feel less nervous re: david and is like “it’s nice to see you but you didn’t have to come out here in person to tell me that you got my text, you could have just texted me back” ;D jk jk i doubt his reasons are that ridiculous but i think she knows what he’s doing all the same and i think she’s weirdly equal parts amused/slightly annoyed/embarrassed/touched idk basically all the emotions you’d have if your dad showed up to your work all the time to give your boss the death stare in his cop uniform <333

okay, so i was thinking about how long rora has worked for david and i’m thinking it’s probably been about two years atp??? also i was wondering how heavily you think david relies on her/how demanding her job is? like does she have set hours that she works for him or does she have set hours but is basically always on call 24/7 and has to sleep with her cellphone type deal?

okay so i think that rora would love lexi so much like alkdjflakjflkajdsflkdajsfl <3333 and i think she’s basically like a second older sister tbh. also i was also thinking that maybe she helped out lexi when she first started up her bakery and worked there through high school after school and then during college on the summers??

rora is a just a really happy/genuine/friendly/energetic person

tbh i’m not even sure where she finds all of her energy most days??

maybe it’s all that tea she drinks 

literally is drinking tea 24/7 and if she doesn’t have a mug with her you should probably be concerned

has literally the best memories from when all seven coles were alive and happy and living in england together

the day that her parents died was literally the worst

susan was hella determined to move back to england but it was rora who told her that she and the younger ones would move to america with her, instead

she knew that susan would abandon everything to be there for them and rora wouldn’t let her

(unfortunately she still kinda did (s/o to the breakup w/ greg) but at least she kept her job??) 

rora doesn’t have too much down time anymore (working for david lennox will do that to you tbh) but she loves to read

she mostly reads the classics tbh but books like bridget jones are her guilty pleasure reads

also has a weakness for going shopping but she’s also pretty good w/ her money and tbh i think window shopping is half the fun 

her siblings mean E V E R Y T H I N G to her

she’d literally drop everything to help them tbh

also she loves nothing better than just hanging w/ them and it’s really sad that they’ve all grown up and moved away and i think that she is v aggressive about them having weekly dinners 

very happy that gigi has moved in with her

tbh i don’t think she likes living alone

they spend a lot of time talking about their bosses tbh

rora went to college and had plans of working for a publishing company

after she graduated she planned on getting a job @ decker publishing but she didn’t get the job

she did get several other job offers but they were all far away and ultimately she turned them down b/c being close to family is way more important to rora than her career tbh

and that’s how she ended up working for david lennox

literally everyone told her not to even bother applying but rora was determined to get a job and he couldn’t be that horrible (rora is def the sort of person to like/trust you until you give her reason not to). 

and while things have definitely been ... interesting working for mr. lennox she doesn’t think that he’s nearly as bad as everyone thinks

he’s always very professional w/ her and she doesn’t have any complaints (altho it’s kinda awkward whenever she’s there when he’s w/ his family ...) 

rora doesn’t have much romantic history to speak of -- the only guy she’s ever dated is jeremy anderson and they started dating soon after she got here from england

but then broke up when she went to college and when she came back he was dating someone else and she assumed he moved on (too bad rora still hasn’t) 

and now it’s obvious that he’s into tess potter and ~cue sad puppy eyes rora~

but ultimately rora just wants him to be happy and she probably likes tess, too, and so she weirdly ships it??? 

rora makes the best cupcakes

she’s super ocd about some things and likes to be very organized (especially when it comes to papers/important documents and her clothes) but she’s not always as organized (especially at home) as she’d like b/c when she gets busy she tends to let things slide (altho she’ll fix it all on her day off). 

she is always very organized and on top of things at work tho, even if somethings things at home go a little crazy
