WELCOME TO HEXMORE, KIT (28/GMT). HEXMORE WAS FOUNDED BY WITCHES, BUT IS NOW HOME TO, RORY MORA (ALEXANDRA SHIPP). SHE/HER IS a 31 YEAR OLD, WITCH. BORN IN HEXMORE, ILLINOIS. THEY HAVE RESIDED IN HEXMORE FOR ALL THEIR LIFE, WHERE THEY WORK AS SHOP ASSISTANT AT THE MOONS CORNER. THEY CONSIDER THEMSELVES TO BE AFFILIATED WITH THE HEXMORE COURT AND THE DISAPPEARANCE OF HAZEL MORA HAS LEFT THEM DETERMINED TO FIND OUT WHERE SHE IS.
Rory was born in Hexmore to two loving parents, but even though they loved her, their marriage wasn't perfect. By the time Rory was 10, her parents were divorced. Her parents were both witches and Rory was raised in the Hexmore Court. Rory lived with her mother after the divorce, however would often go stay with the Mora family. Her father moved in with her aunt Hazel, meaning that Rory would go stay with her and her father when her father had weekends with her.
The young witch attended the acadamy from the age of 16, where her parents chose for her to board. Rory was raised around magic and is skilled, although often chooses not to take part in many court activities. Rory has plenty of her friends from the academy and is well intrenched in witch culture. However, once she graduated she wanted her life to take more of a normal turn. She got a job working at moon's corner, the local gems and tarot card reading store. Although most of their service is for fellow witches or tourists.
Rory has a knack for writing and spends her free time outside in Hexmore writing.
Her aunt's disappearance has hit Rory hard and she finds seeing her cousin's hurting the most difficult part. This has spurred Rory on in trying to help figure out where her aunt is. Rory has no interest in the next supreme and does her best to stay out of politics.
