Dance guide on the floor at this weird and wonderful jazz bar, where I went last night. Turns out Vout o-Renees and the Stash Gallery is a private members club for a "convivial tatter of dreamers". Here's what they say on the website: "The hipster cool language was invented by jazz gigant Slim Gaillard in the 1930s and published in a dictionary. Slim encapsulates the ethics of the club - mischievous, sharp, slim, tall, cool, ambidextrous (had to look that up) playful, imaginative and all times charming grar-as."
