Rating Doctor Who fake deaths

again the ones i have seen and care about

Melody Pond (first incarnation. yes i know that this doesn’t count bc she regenerates shut up): can’t control trying to shoot the doctor and gets shot by her mom. sasses a hobo in new york and then turns into a toddler in an alley. 9/10

Mels (again shut up): pulls a gun on the doctor and goes to kill hitler. guess what he shoots her instead, rip. reveals her identity and dies at the same time, while also proposing and getting engaged. what a wild and chaotic way to go. 8/10

Rory (Amy’s Choice): just kinda gets shot. probably felt he deserved it bc he hit an old lady looking monster but i forgive him. dissolved while loving and being held by his pregnant wife. kinda gross pile of ash tho, but drove the plot forward. 5/10

Rory (Curse of the Black Spot): drowned by a siren. was ranting abt his wife and then got sung at and electrocuted/drowned. was kept alive but when they took him off his life support he went all peeta and died (luckily cpr and everyone loving him saved him). double death very nice, he dies a lot but this one was only alright. liked the second time better. overall 5/10

Old Rory (Angels Take Manhattan): we don’t talk about him. makes me feel terrible and angry things about steven moffat. -9/10

Rory (Cold Blood): shot saving the doctor and diving in front of him. tells his wife she’s beautiful and then dies and then never exists. 10/10

Missy (Death in Heaven): very dramatic, think she’s gonna die one way and dies another way but turns out she’s alive later. on her bff’s birthday (does not matter he was about to kill her they have an interesting relationship okay) which is sad. 5/10 the buildup was nice

Missy (that skaro 2 parter about magician apprentices idk): I loved this. she was like i am ultimate evil oh sht they killed me, oh well. explains the death in heaven scenario. also saves clara but not obviously, creates great angst material. makes the set up for the buddy cop dynamic of clara and missy, including the shoot the dalek scene. mwa mwa mwa. 8/10
