[RELIGION CW]
Rosa was practically born with a sketchbook in her hand. Or, okay, maybe that’s a stretch, but she has been an incredibly artistic person from as far back as she can remember. Her favorite thing to do as a child was ignore whatever toy was placed in front of her and instead use it to bang her hands on it and make any kind of beat, or to deface it with a crayon. She didn’t mean to be disrespectful, she has just always been very artsy, is all. In a musical sense, a drawing sense; Rosa has always loved it all.
Born into a very traditional Catholic family, Rosa was raised to love her Lord, and love Him she does. Though, Rosa is what she likes to call a “realistic Catholic.” She knows that she can love and respect God and the church while still living and doing things that may not have been acceptable hundreds of years ago when most religious laws were set. Rosa is comfortable and open with her fluid sexuality, and would never run around spouting Bible verses. She’s happy to worship in her own, personal way, and to live life the way she sees fit, not necessarily as the traditional church would.
Before she’d even reached middle school, Rosa knew exactly what she wanted to do with her life. It started with her cutting pieces of material—that may have included her parents drapes one time… oops?—and making outfits out of them for her dolls. She would sketch the design she’d thought up, then do what she could to make it a reality. By her high school freshman year, Rosa had been gifted a sewing machine, and begun to work on making her own clothes. With a very creative eye, they became pretty darn great pretty darn quickly.
Rosa has always had her eye on Asteria University, and being a legacy, has had her eye on Kappa Delta just as long. Rosa knew she had the drive and passion to thrive in a university environment and to further her creative abilities as far as fashion design and clothes making, and loved the idea of joining a sorority with ideals to uphold and a reputation to contribute to, so rushed as soon as she’d enrolled.
As for her personality, Rosa has always been a bubbly, easy to get along with person. She can be sarcastic, and despite her religious beliefs, enjoys a good party and the opportunity to get wasted as much as the next person. Though, Rosa considers herself to always be responsible in everything she does. Despite how nice of a person she is, she isn’t a pushover, and does harbor a pretty big bark when she deems it necessary. For the most part, though, Rosa is just a lover of life with a passion for fashion.
