If you give me something unique that you have never given to anyone else, then that's a truly special gesture. That gesture will be special for you tho. For me, if it’s something I’ve received countless times before, it loses a bit of its spark.
I mean that to be truthful.
However, if I've never received this unique thing then yes it is super special to us both.
It doesn't get more complex than that.
If you receive a purple rose from me and no one has ever given you a purple rose then that moment is super special too because each time after whenever you get a purple rose, you will remember mine first.
