Rosalie Hale x Emmett Cullen x Female Vampire Reader

Summary: Bella observes the relationship between Rosalie, Emmett and Y/N.

TW: Throuple, vampire mates, mentions of death and torture.

In the time that Bella had spent as a human while dating Edward, she learned very little about the young vampire who Rosalie and Emmett shared as a mate. Y/N was quiet and reserved, which made her stand out in the relationship with her mates.

Rosalie had an anger that burned like the hottest flame and Emmett was always the loudest one in the room. Someone so calm and soft-spoken didn't seem to fit into their relationship dynamic.

Y/N almost seemed to get lost behind their big personalities, but they always saw her in a way that others didn't. Rosalie and Emmett always had some innate ability to sense their mate in every situation. They gravitated towards each other like magnets and could always be found together.

One thing Bella had come to notice about Y/N is that her love language was physical touch. Y/N was always touching one or both of her mates in some way. Bella was almost alarmed to see how different Rosalie could be when she was interacting with her young mate.

Rosalie tended to be a bit more protective than affectionate towards Y/N when Bella had first come around, but after some time she gradually started to see Rosalie soften.

Bella would always remember the day she saw them all together for the first time. She had walked into the living room with Edward only to find Y/N sitting sideways on the couch with her back leaned against Emmett's side and his arm wrapped around her body, a baseball game playing on the television. Rosalie sat next to Y/N with her mate's legs draped across her lap while she flipped through a magazine. The sight caught Bella off-guard, but then she started to notice it more and more.

On another day, Y/N was walking through the woods after a hunt with Emmett's arm wrapped around her waist and his hand slipped into the back pocket of her jeans. Her other hand was holding onto Rosalie's as they talked about whatever came to mind.

The day after that Bella saw Y/N sitting on Emmett's lap while she talked to Rosalie about a book that she had just finished. The blonde listened to her intently with a soft smile on her face as Emmett brushed his thumbs back and forth over her hip bones.

At first glance, they seemed like they would never fit together in a million years, but Bella had never seen a closer relationship in her lifetime. There was some unexpected gravitational pull that kept them orbiting around eachother. Y/N grounded the pair in a way that was necessary when they got riled up, bringing everything back into focus.

Bella learned that Y/N's human life had ended tragically like many of her family members. She wouldn't talk about it, but Edward knew about what she had endured.

He told Bella that he could feel it when her mind drifted to those memories. The first time it happened, he had frozen in his tracks and his body locked up in a way that he had never experienced before.

Y/N had been walking home after a closing shift at the diner she was working at. A car pulled up beside her and a man offered to drive her home, he pulled a gun on her when she refused. Y/N got into the car and it was definitely a decision that she would regret for the entirety of her human life.

Edward had never known someone who had experienced as much suffering as Y/N had. The man kept her chained up in his basement for weeks, he beat her, starved her, cut her, burned her and forced her to endure many other kinds of torture while under his imprisonment.

Y/N barely managed to escape with her life, her bones were broken and the blood loss had made her weak. She ran from the house until her body collapsed into unconsciousness. Y/N thought that she would die in her place on the damp grass, she could feel herself fading away and she decided that it wasn't the worst place to die.

Someone had found her in the morning and called the authorities, she was taken to the hospital and she would have died from her injuries if Carlisle hadn't been working that day. It took almost a week for her body to put itself back together after she had died.

Y/N's death was traumatic and she was never the same after she had reanimated. Y/N was quiet and reserved, slipping back into those dreadful memories.

She was terrified every day, especially around the men in the house and no one could question her reasons. She gradually formed a friendship with Rosalie, bonding over their shared trauma and Y/N slowly began to come out of her shell a bit.

No one could pinpoint when exactly Y/N and Rosalie's relationship had changed into a romantic one, but it had. Rosalie was Y/N's protector and they hardly ever spent any time apart.

Carlisle felt relieved to see the girls finding something in their lives that was worth carrying on for. They had both been through so much and their willingness to create a relationship let him know that they were adjusting to this new life.

Y/N and Rosalie spent every possible moment together and when Rosalie found Emmett, he was brought into their dynamic seamlessly. If anyone chose to question their relationship, Rosalie would be on them in a second.

Rosalie had a ferocious love that no one could ever mess with. She allowed herself to be used and walked over in her human life, the loss of that life made her stronger and showed her that nothing lasts forever.

Their relationship had endured years of traumatic experiences and bloodshed, built on the back of a curse that provided eternal life.

Hearing about their relationship from Edward's point of view gave Bella a better understanding of who they were to each other. Though no recognition could be given to their union at the time, they were all married to each other. It didn't matter to them that it wasn't legal, they knew that their bond ran deeper than any laws ever could.

Bella respected the love that they all had for each other, it was fierce and strong like nothing she had ever seen before. It made her look at the other relationships that had blossomed within the Cullen family and she quickly found that none of them were the same.

They may have had similar values, but their dynamics were all vastly different. Her own relationship with Edward was romantic, tumultuous and tragic. There would always be parts of their lives that would never be possible if they stayed together.

Edward had lived for many years before he met her, forming relationships and losing people that Bella would never know. Bella would likely never know who he was before he died, time changes so much and it would likely be impossible for him to remember now.

If Bella transformed into a vampire to stay at Edward's side, she would lose whatever future she could have had as a human. She would never be able to have children or grow old with her friends or family. Eveyone would die around her and she would remain unchanged with Edward and his family as her only solace in a changing world.

Her fascination with Y/N's relationship had served to put things in perspective for her regarding what she could gain and lose in this life. None of the Cullen children had a choice in whether or not they pursued this life. Bella seemed to have tunnel vision on the topic, always worrying about how much time she was wasting.

Every day that passed made her feel physically older, every scrape or bruise on her skin made her feel like her body would just crumble underneath her. Bella knew that her worries were nothing that a teenager should be concerned about, but she had seen what a future could look like.

Bella was staring down the finish line of a marathon that she had been treating as a sprint. She didn't have to rush, she didn't have to make a choice now.

Y/N, Rosalie and Emmett never would have found each other if it hadn't been for the horrific way that their human lives happened to end.

Bella felt like she could finally understand that this choice shouldn't be rushed, it needed to be carefully considered. Bella didn't need to push the envelope and choose a tragic end for herself when she had the luxury of time.

She would become a vampire, but she could definitely choose to enjoy her life as a human for a while.

I don’t remember my parents’ faces the way I’m supposed to. I remember fragments. My mom’s laugh- too loud, always apologetic after. My dad’s hands, rough and warm when he lifted me onto his shoulders. I remember headlights cutting through rain, the smell of wet asphalt, and the sound of my own heartbeat pounding so hard I thought it might tear me open. Then screaming. 

Then silence. 

The Cullens tell me they found me hiding in the trees behind what was left of our car. Eight years old. Covered in blood that wasn’t mine. Shocked so deeply, I didn’t even cry when Rosalie wrapped me in her arms. Nomad vampires had killed my parents. And somehow… spared me. Carlisle says it was luck. Edward says fate. Alice won’t say anything at all, just smiles at me like she always knew I’d be here. Rosalie became my mother that night. 

At sixteen, I’ve learned to live between worlds. I’m human in a house of marble statues. My heart beats too fast, too loud. I bruise easily. I get sick. I bleed. They’ve never let me forget how precious that makes me. Rosalie packs my lunches with obsessive care. Emmett walks me to school like a bodyguard who forgot subtlety exists. Carlisle monitors my health like I’m a glass ornament that might shatter if he blinks wrong. And I love them for it. I really do. But some days, being human feels like a ticking clock. 

The pain wakes me before dawn. At first, I think I’m dreaming. It’s a deep, sharp ache low in my abdomen- hot and insistent, like something twisting inside me. I curl instinctively, breath hitching as the pain spikes suddenly, violently enough that a gasp tears out of me. 

“Okay,” I whisper to the dark. “Okay, breathe.” 

I try to sit up. 

Bad idea. 

The room spins, nausea rising fast and ugly. I press a hand to my stomach, fingers trembling, and bite down on a cry when the pain flares again- worse this time, focused and unforgiving. 

Something’s wrong. 

Really wrong.

“Mom?” I call, voice thing. “Mom?” 

The words barely leave my mouth before she’s there. The door opens silently, light spilling in as Rosalie appears beside my bed like she’s been summoned. Her face is calm for exactly half a second, until she sees me curled in on myself, pale and shaking. 

“Y/N,” She says sharply, already at my side. “What hurts?” 

“My stomach,” I whisper. “It-It really hurts.” 

Her hand is gentle when it presses to my forehead, brushing my hair back. I can feel her trying not to panic. Trying to be composed. She fails. 

“This isn’t right…” She says, voice tight. “You were fine last night.” 

Another wave of pain crashes through me, and I groan despite myself, clutching at the sheets. Rosalie straightens suddenly, fear flashing bright and unmasked across her perfect face. 

“Carlisle!” She calls, loud enough to shake the house. “Carlisle, now!” 

Footsteps thunder- impossibly fast- and suddenly the room is full. Carlisle is at my side, eyes already focused, hands warm and steady as they press carefully along my abdomen. 

“Does it hurt here?” He asks. 

“Yes!” I gasp. 

“And here?”

“Yes! Worse!” 

He stops. Rosalie is watching his face like it holds the fate of the world. Carlisle exhales slowly. 

“Rosalie,” He says calmly. “She has appendicitis.” 

The word hits me like ice. 

“I-I have what?” I ask weakly. 

Rosalie’s hands clench into fists. “Is that dangerous?” 

“It can be,” Carlisle says. “If it ruptures.” 

I suddenly feel very small. 

“And we need to go,” He adds firmly. “Now.” 

Everything moves too fast after that. Rosalie helps me dress with shaking hands, murmuring reassurances she doesn’t believe yet. Emmett appears in the doorway, face splitting into concern the second he sees me pale and bent in half. 

“What happened?” He demands. 

“She’s sick.” Rosalie snaps. “Get the car.” 

Emmett is gone in a blur. 

I’m half carried, half walked down the stairs, every step sending sharp jolts of pain through me. Carlisle keeps one hand on my shoulder, grounding, steady. 

“You’re going to be fine.” He tells me gently. “Appendectomies are routine.” 

“For humans…” I mutter. 

His smile is soft. “You’re surrounded by vampires who love you. That helps.” 

The ride to the hospital is a blur of red taillights and clenched teeth. Rosalie holds my hand the whole way, grip tight enough to hurt, but I don’t pull away. I don’t think she realizes she’s shaking. 

“I’m sorry.” I whisper suddenly. “I didn’t mean to-” 

“Don’t.” She cuts in immediately. “Don’t you dare apologize.” 

Emmet glances back at us from the driver’s seat, jaw tight. 

“You’re our kid,” He says. “This is literally our job.” 

That almost makes me cry. 

The hospital smells like antiseptic and fear. Carlisle becomes Dr. Cullen in an instant. Calm, professional, and commanding respect without trying. I’m rushed through triage, poked, prodded, and scanned. The pain keeps building. 

By the time they confirm it- acute appendicitis, surgery, needed immediately- I’m exhausted, tears slipping down my temples as the world pulses in and out of focus. Rosalie stands at the foot of my bed, face paler than usual. Emmett is right beside her, arms crossed.  

“They’re taking her now.” Carlisle says quietly. 

Rosalie nods once. Then she breaks. She rushes forward, gripping my face gently but desperately, forehead pressed to mine. 

“I should have known…” She whispered fiercely. “I should have seen it coming.” 

I swallow hard. “You’re not Aunt Alice.” 

Her eyes shine. “I can’t lose you.” 

“You won’t.” I promise, even though fear coils tight in my chest. 

Emmett leans down and kisses my forehead, careful and reverent. “Be tough, kiddo.” 

“I learned from you.” I manage. 

They wheel me away before anyone can say more. The last thing I see before the anesthesia pulls me under is Rosalie’s face- beautiful, terrified, and so full of love it hurts.

I wake up hours later, groggy, sore, and alive. Rosalie is there instantly, sitting beside my bed. 

“It’s over,” She says softly. “You’re okay.” 

I breathe out shakily. 

“I hate being human sometimes.” I admit. 

She smiles sadly and squeezes my hand. “And I love you for it. Every fragile, fleeting second.” 

I close my eyes, comforted. Because I survived. Because I’m loved. Because even in a house of immortals, I belong.

Hey would you do Cullens x human reader who wants to turn into a vampire?

Edward

Edward is fiercely against it. No hesitation. He hates the idea of anyone else suffering what he sees as a cursed existence.

He’d argue that you have a chance at a normal, happy human life, one with warmth and family.

You should expect speeches like: “You don’t understand what you’re asking for. You’d be giving up your soul, your humanity, everything that makes you, you.”

He would likely be one voice of protest in the family, even if the others supported your decision.

Despite this, his protectiveness runs deep: if anyone did agree to turn you, he’d still hover protectively around you, pained but unwilling to abandon you.

Rosalie

Rosalie’s reaction is layered. Outwardly, she’s angry. Not at you, but at the thought of someone else choosing what was forced on her.

She’d try to convince you not to do it, reminding you of everything you’d lose: children, aging, the human milestones she mourns every day.

“You think it’s glamorous? It isn’t. It’s prison. Don’t throw away what I never got the chance to have.”

But beneath the frustration, there’s a kind of admiration. You have a choice, and she both envies and resents it.

Rosalie would not agree to turn you. In fact, she’d probably fight hard to stop it.

Alice

Alice would be the most enthusiastic and supportive one. She sees it as a chance for you to truly be part of the family forever.

Her visions would let her see how things might play out, and if she saw you thriving as a vampire, she’d be even more convinced.

“You’d be gorgeous, of course. And imagine all the fun we’d have!”

She’d likely volunteer herself to be the one to turn you, gently, because she’d want it done with love rather than out of impulse.

Alice wouldn’t pressure you, though, she’d make sure you fully understood the weight of your choice.

Jasper

Jasper would be very very veryyyy hesitant. Not because he doesn’t think you could handle it, but because he knows firsthand how brutal the newborn stage is.

He’d be haunted by the thought of you going through the bloodlust and the loss of control.

“It ain’t just burning, darlin’. Once you’re through, you’re hungry in ways you can’t imagine.”

He’d respect your choice, but he’d strongly caution you and probably insist that if it happens, he stays by your side to help you control the thirst.

Jasper wouldn’t want to be the one to turn you, not unless you asked him personnaly. Then he’d reluctantly agree, but it would weigh on him.

Emmett

Emmett is surprisingly chill about it.

His first reaction would be excitement: “Hell yeah! Imagine the pranks, the wrestling matches, game over, kid.”

But then he’d sober up and admit that the change is hellish, and he wouldn’t want you to jump into it just for the fun side.

He’d want to be sure you understood the price.

If you were firm about it, Emmett would absolutely agree. He’d even offer to turn you himself, partly because he trusts his own strength to do it quickly and partly because he wouldn’t want anyone else to hurt you.

Esme

Esme would be conflicted too. Her nurturing instincts would scream no, she wants you safe and alive.

She’d likely cry at the thought of you giving up your humanity, and she’d beg you to reconsider.

But Esme’s love is unconditional. If you explained why it mattered to you, whether it was belonging, or the desire for eternity with the people you love, she would listen.

She would never, ever turn you herself. The idea of causing you pain is unbearable to her.

But if the rest of the family agreed, Esme would support you through it completely, mothering you through the newborn chaos.

Carlisle

Carlisle would be the most rational and calm about your request.

His moral code means he would never take a life unless absolutely necessary, but if he believed you were truly certain and understood the consequences, he’d be ok.

He’d sit you down and explain everything: the agony of the transformation, the loss and gains.

“It is not a decision I take lightly. But it is your decision, not mine. I will respect your will.”

Carlisle would likely be the family member you trust most to give you a balanced view, and if anyone were to turn you “safely,” it would be him.

He wouldn’t agree right away, but if after much discussion you still wanted it, he’d accept and likely be the one to do it himself.
