This white gown was first spotted in 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒊‘𝒔 first season in 2016. It was worn by Annabel Scholey as Contessina in a flashback scene in the episode 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒍𝒆. “Anything else I can get ya?” Placing a shot of tequila on the counter in front of the patron Rosaline would take in the figure for maybe the first time. The bar was packed and she’d just taken over for her co-worker, which meant she hadn’t a single clue what was going on. She was running on vibes and praying she didn’t fuck up an order and get stiffed on a tip.
“No, I don’t think so.”
The voice carried though it was soft, which prompted Rosaline to take a better look at the woman on the other-side. She recognized the blonde, but for the life of her couldn’t place from where.
“Do I know you from somewhere? You look awfully familiar.”
Kehlani smiled, shaking her head, “I don’t think so, this is my first time in this city.”
“What brought ya in?” Rose quipped, her curiosity pulling her to inquire further. “It’s not the best place to be stop’n.”
“I’m just trying to lay low for a bit.” It may have been a mistake to go out like this, but so far no one had clocked Kehlani her for who she was. She’d left her phone on the tour bus and had walked a few blocks looking for a place to just sit and think for a while.
“I see.” Maybe that was what had drawn her to converse with the stranger. Rosaline understood that feeling, of wanting to stay under the radar. “Well if you need anything, just let me know!” Smiling warmly, Rose would place her hand briefly over the strangers before running off to handle the rest of her back log.
A few rounds of tequila later, Kehlani flagged Rosaline down to settle her bill. Handing over the balance in cash she’d tell the brunette to keep the rest. Eyes wide, Rose would look down at the bills. “Are you positive?”
“Absolutely, from one runaway to another.”
With the not so cryptic message to the bartender, Kehlani quietly made her exit. She stood there a moment, feeling as though she was living a dream. The tip in her hand was a blessing, she didn’t have to choose between her car payment or rent. Tucking the money into her jean pocket after closing out the tab, Rose would look up to see a few frantic looking men enter.
Approaching the bar, Ronnie, the bassist of Collision looked to Rose with a look of desperation. “Have you seen a woman, tall, like 5’11 come in here? She’s blonde - wears a lot of black.” As recognition hit Rosaline found herself nodding.
“Yeah, she left like ten minutes ago.”
“Fucccccck.” Ronnie hissed, “Thanks for the tip. I swear she does this all the time..” Digging in his pocket he procured a pass for Rose to use to get into the concert the following night, “For yer trouble. Kehlani is a lot. I’m sure she talked your ear off.”
“Nah, she was a doll.” Taking the pass she gave Ronnie an appreciative smile. “Best of luck on finding your singer.”
