I really love reading things out loud. I will read anything to anyone. If I’m in a good enough mood I’ll do the voices.
I have terrible balance and can’t do anything that requires any. Well, I can ride a bicycle, but I cannot skate or ski or snowboard or surf, etc. The inability to surf is extra not cool, since I grew up at the ocean and people tried to teach me for 8 summers running.
I can play exactly two songs on the guitar: ‘The Angel of Death Came to David’s Room’ by mewithoutYou and ‘Land Locked Blues’ by Bright Eyes.
I am the hugest scaredy cat and will go through haunted houses clinging to you with my face pressed between your shoulder blades. Unless I’m drunk, in which case I will high five all of the scare-acters and try to discuss their costumes with them.
I love roller coasters and rides that drop you, but hate rides that toss you upwards. I used to ride the Fear Fall at Universal until I started to get increasingly anxious every time I got near it, like I was counting down to the time it would finally snap and kill me. So yeah, I don’t do that anymore. Which is a shame, because when I lived in Orlando I could literally see my apartment from it.
I once flew to Toronto to see Our Lady Peace. And also to hang out with a friend, obviously, but OLP wasn’t bringing the Clumsy/Spiritual Machines album play throughs anywhere near me and I have NEEDS.
