Not all of them! For example, this rosasite has a velvety texture.

And this okenite puffball feels positively fluffy!

While I've had the opportunity to feel both of these minerals before (and yes, they ARE as soft and velvety as they look), I would never touch THESE lovely specimens! My fingers would destroy their incredibly delicate crystals.

Saw your Gems they look cool! If you have any time on your hands to make Rosasite and Ussingite?

Thank you thank you! I try not to overdesign my gems, save that for fusions lol, but I also try to make them as canon as I possibly can!!!

But aside from that, I was super excited for this ask because I do have a Rosasite! Rather, a whole gem type!

Rosasites! They're portable jukeboxes for gems, and while they just sing, their music has magical properties! Like the actual gem which gives calming vibrations, bring joy, and feel like a booster shot of energy, so do these little fellas! They sing low vibrations that level out emotions and buff up other gems energy, that way they can fight at their full potential! Though they were fairly soon discontinued as they would effect all gems in a radius, accidentally causing many failed battles. Though, too valuable to be melted back down for their resources, since that would ruin the components used to create gems.

And for Ussingite!

Say hello to these little fellas! They're all happy to do their job, even if it's a bit grim. The Ussingite gem type is all about soul connecting and repairing, so I decided to make these gems healers! Skills rivaling the diamonds, meaning, they can fully repair a gem, even corruption, shattering, or rusting! Though, that's a special skill, right? Well did you know Homeworld has an endless surplus of resources to creat Ussingite's! That's super great! Or... Maybe not. Being so easy to create, the Ussingite's are quite disposable, and also, extremely fragile. How do they heal, you wonder? They take the problem effecting the gem they're healing, and, apply it to themselves. So they heal a shattered gem, and then shatter themselves, rather, disintegrating quite instantly. It's the one draw back.
