The Bright Sessions fanart + AUs Compilation

My very first design attempts at some of the TBS cast.

In order:

As you'll see I redesigned some of them and will probably rework some of the designs in the future as well. The oldest art is from december 2021 and the latest april 2023.

Two child OCs me and my bestie @somefarawayplaces created!! Left one is Bunny, they're 11 and a mind manipulator, they're the child of Sam, Mark and Oliver so it's not easy everyday given Mark's Damien-related trauma. Speaking of which, Dorothy is a 13yo trans girl and the daughter of Damien Renée, who's a better person years after the events of SFP and found out she's a trans woman through her daughter. Dorothy isn't an atypical.

Also forgot to mention Sam is transmasc by that point and uses he/she pronouns.

My favourite part is the Power Rangers AU I made up (with @somefarawayplaces again). We came up with a huge lore but it was still an early draft and it was years ago so it slipped my mind but if anyone's interested, I can go dig for it in our old DMs.

In the meantime we have a relationship chart and my notes and references on designing the suits. I haven't designed any helmets yet despite gathering references for it because that's not my strong suit (pun intended).

Finally listened to the SFP audiobook (also the first time I’ve reread the book since it came out lol) and decided I liked the book descriptions of Rose and Emily better than anything I came up with back when I was 17 and figuring my headcanons out so I decided to combine some of my old design elements with the book descriptions to make new ones 👀
