Wanted to draw up two of my old characters from high school again.

I am dead exhausted from work today, trying to handle all of the routine duties and attempting to coordinate as much as I can, so I am surprised I finished this. I guess I got caught up in thinking about how neat it'd look to draw these two again.

Playing around with an old character again, just for a quick drawing tonight. I'm really surprised at how fast this one came together, haha

...probably all the black space in it.

Tonight is the heroic counterpart to Black Iris, Red Adonis! Hero of my high school senior project comic, Rose Hero. :3c

His design has really changed a lot over the years. In his original concept, back when I was in high school, he was basically just dressed up in a black suit and slacks with a stylized print down the front of the suit.

Also for a bonus: the drawing above is actually a re-drawing of a previous, never-posted-before piece of Red Adonis. This one here -

I think...this is like, three years old? At least two for sure.

Got one of my own characters to show off for today's I'm Not At Home drawing. OwO

This one is Black Iris, effectively the anti-hero rival character in one of the story ideas I juggle in my head. Her design's still pretty close to the original draft a friend provided for me over a decade ago, haha

I was remembering an old character design I came up with in high school, and I went and redrew it. :T

Man. That high-rising collar was something I thought was really cool when I was younger that’s still really cool.

I finally finished this after it sat as a sketch in my files for the past few days. I just kept getting overwhelmed and lazy each time I opened the file and thought about doing the line work for the mech, haha.

But it’s finally done, and I’ve got it here and on twitter.
