Reviewing Modern Who: What-If Scenarios

Turn Left. The Doctor and Donna are wandering through an alien market when one of the stalls offers to tell Donna’s fortune for free. Surprise! There’s something sinister going on! They slap a beetle on her back and make her turn right instead of left in such a way that she never meets the Doctor, so he dies stopping the evil spider lady, and then the world just gets increasingly garbage as time wears on. The Titanic blows up London and floods all of southern England with radiation, a fascist government takes over, etc. etc.

Rose (remember her? I’d almost forgotten, it’s been so long) keeps showing up all mysterious-like and eventually convinces Donna to go back in time and make herself turn left so the garbage universe never happens, and also so she can help the Doctor save the original universe, I guess. You had to be there. B+
