You missed me being a complete dick. You know how I feel after stuff like this, especially if I can’t apologize. I roll around, cry, wanna kill myself.. wait, what?
I’m pretty sure I was talking out my ass. No need for any one to get hurt.
Oc Story guys. (Keep scrolling)
For the always lovely @rose-can-doodle. This is our best headcanon ever. I will do everything in my power to make our dream reality.
Mis felt her hand slip off the rocky surface. She struggled not to let the bag slip from her arm as she swung herself back around. Her children were already ahead of her, scaling the rocky cliff edge as fast as they could. And who could blame them? This was the first time in 15 years that might be able to see their brother again. And it was a very slim possibility, but they still hurried along.
But Mis hung back, with the no longer teenaged vampire. She couldn’t tell her children that this was about more than just their brother. She just couldn’t tell them there was more to this. She felt like it would be a small betrayal to them… To her late husband.
Yeah, when Sid had disappeared she was shocked, heartbroken, and falling to pieces. But then a glimmer of hope made her feel again. Soon after killing her husband Mahogany, she was given a very strange piece of information from the very vampire that climbed next to her.
Biter Kenway was alive. Biter Kenway was back in hell. Biter Kenway had her son.
Biter Kenway was a demigod chosen by the world herself to rule over the unworthy occupants and do with them as he deemed fit.
The Biter that she loved. The one who chugged beers and fucked random whores. The one who almost got arrested for killing some sick bastard. Her Biter. The one that got away. Had he always been like this? Had he always been so far out of her reach? Had he always been so powerful? Was he still the Biter that she fell in love with in her younger days? The same man that saved her time and time again even though he claimed to not give a shit about her? Was he the same Biter that disappeared on that fateful day?
“Mis,” Vinnie called out tiredly. He had every right to be tired. Mis couldn’t have known until he finally came clean and told her, but he had been searching for years before any of the others went missing. According to him, All of the children who were taken had vanished from their homes without a trace at different times. according to his research, End was not the first to disappear. But she had vanished three years before Sid and a four before Willow.
She looked at him, trying to hide her pity. She knew of his curse. for eighteen years his mind went between his own body and that of his younger sister’s. But because of him, Sid would be found and she knew Biter was alive. “Yeah?”
“We should hurry. The dragons are already at the top.”
She nodded. Again, who could have known that her son, Maniki’s daughter and Varren’s daughter would be dragged into the mess that the older warriors left. How could she have known as a child that she would one day be pushing this on to her children? All of this, the horrible fate they endured. It was all the fault of their parents.
Her green eyes looked up at the sky, watching Gwenneth, Draxus, and Hector circling the cliff’s edge. Her own children, Juniper and Deceit scaled faster than her. She couldn’t really call them kids anymore. Juniper was a woman, the same age as Vinnie. And Deceit, though only two years older than his sister was already thirty-four years of age. Sometimes she wondered what their lives would have been like if they had given up. Would Juniper and Deceit be married with children of their own? Would Mis still be madly in love with Mahogany?
“Mis.” Vinnie held out a hand to her, upon reaching the top of the cliff. The vampire was so much like his father. From the very beginning, he had been there to help her. Even if, much like Varren, he was a little lost in thought.
“Tell me, Vinnie,” She felt herself say. “What happened to Iris and Varren. It’s been a long time since you talked about them?”
“Why are you asking now?” He looked away. Those ocean-like eyes swirled with emotion that Mis knew too well.
“We’ll find them, I promise you, Vinnie.” Mis reassured him. She was, after all, a mother by heart.
“Yeah.” He took her hand in his own and struggled to help her up. His skin was cold like ice. It reminded her of the sea. Cold but constant.
“I-is this the Rift?” Her voice quaked.
From the top of the cliff, she could see it. Or rather couldn’t see it. The spiraling vortex of purples and black in the vast nothingness that should have been the ground. The sky here looked dark, menacing. Why was this place here? How had it come to be?
All of the questions faded away when she saw a bony hand reach out of the darkness, clawing its way up against the sharp rocks. Once that red hair was in view, Mis could only gasp.
“Sid!” Deceit yelled as he and his sister rushed up to help him.
No… something wasn’t right. He was too small, too familiar. He was the same. The same as the day he left.
“N-no way.” She lifted her hands up to cover her quivering lips. “Please no.”
The next head belonged to a dragon. Her hair pinned up in a braid, But the other dragon children knew her, rushed to her, dragon piled on her. Seems the dragon pile ran through the family no matter if they were Maniki’s kids or Sol’s.
She heard Vinnie’s breath hitch at the next head that popped out of the darkness. The black haired girl with the swirling green and blue eyes. Those eyes were the tell. She had to be Endora Kenway. Vinnie slowly left Mis’ side, dropping to his knees in front of her, pulling her into a hug.
“Mis?” She heard him. That sultry voice. The voice she loved, the voice she had refused to believe was dead for years.
“Biter.” She smiled, offering him a hand, pulling him from the darkness.
She was finally taller than him. Now she was also older than him. Pulling her bag in front of her she offered him a drink.
“How’d you know?” He asked, taking the beer from her.
“I spent my childhood growing up with you. And the better part of my marriage with a man just like you.”
“How is Mahogany?” He asked, flipping the tab.
“Dead.” She took a step away from the kids, leading the small man over to the edge of the cliff. Her legs wanted to give out, so she sat and let them dangle over the sea.
“Sorry to hear that.” He grunted.
“What about Lariar? She vanished after you.”
“Also dead.” He plopped down.
She nodded. “We’ve all had our share of losses.”
“It’s part of life.”
“And besides, my children are grown. They don’t really need their father or me anymore.” Tears welled in her eyes. It was finally over. Now her children could actually have lives. they could go their own way. They were free from the curse of their parents.
And Biter… He seemed to be the same as ever. A little man with a bad habit of drinking. He didn’t act like an all powerful god. Had Vinnie been wrong?
“That’s not true. Sid still needs ya.” Biter’s words were unexpected.
“What?”
“Well, he’s still a kid. I did my best to teach him, so he might be rough around the edges, but he’s a good kid.”
She was taken back. Had he just… complimented her?
“I don’t know what I’m going to do. I mean, our house is gone to. It… fell with Mahogany.”
“Well, I have a ship.”
She blinked. “Okay?”
“And they say that bards were meant to travel.”
A smile, thin, smile graced her lips. “What are you asking me Biter Kenway?”
He took a sip of the beer in his hand. It was warm, of course. That beer had seen more of the world than Biter probably had. “Ya want to travel together like back in the old days?”
“They won’t be like the old days anymore.”
“What’s so different? Me, you, the open sea. Looking for Varren and Atlanta. Helping Maniki out when we save him. We just have a few more faces to feed and lend us their strength.”
Find Varren, save Maniki? “What aren’t you telling me?”
“Nothing I wouldn’t share with ya before.”
“Before I was a child.” She snorted.
“Let’s just say, I’ve got the world at my finger tips and that isn’t enough. I want more. I’m willing to share if you don’t mind traveling the seas together again.”
Mis blushed. From someone as stubborn as him, she knew that this might as well have been his way of finally seeing her as a woman. Her head turned as the thought only to meet nine pairs of ogling eyes.
“Say yes!” Sid said.
“Another adventure?” Deceit asked, with Juniper nodded.
The dragons just looked at her with excitement. How could they not? Willow and Draxus’ dad was gone and Gwenneth and Hector’s mother was missing. The only Family that Vinnie and Endora had at the moment were each other. Of course, all of them had a reason for wanting to continue. All of them knew that this wasn’t the end.
“So what do ya say, princess,” Biter whispered. “You ready to conquer the outer world with me?”
Good! Friend! Good! Friend! GOOD! FRIEND! GOOD! FRIEND! GOOD!!! FRIEND!!! GOOD!!! FRIEND!!!

I have two contact lists because half of my friends don’t actually text, they use Messenger (So I feel like I’d be jipping if I just did my SMS contacts.)
So my actual contact list, the first person is my dad. tbh I’ve only known him for 16 years
Top of my messenger list is Rose ( @rose-can-doodle ) whom I’ve only known for like 10 months but is like the greatest friend in the world.
