Rose-Tu and her very talented daughter, Tula-Tu, who was born 2-1-2025.

This is an older picture from the Oregon Zoo. The baby packy featured here is Samudra, who has grown up since then & is a great big & powerful packy prince! But to his mother Rose-Tu, he will always be her little baby!

Rose-Tu at the Oregon Zoo had her baby. She's a 300 pound baby girl. Soooo stinking cute!  They're voting on names this week.

matthew is so cute. he just got home from work and the first thing he said when he got in the door was

"did you see the baby elephant?!?!?!?" (for those who don't live in Portland: Rose-Tu, our local elephant celebrity at the zoo, just had her second baby).

he said he's really excited to take the baby to the zoo and tell it that it's the same age as the elephant.
