WHY DID SHE AUDITION FOR SM?: Had gotten into K-Pop through watching a Girls Generation dance practice, got hooked on the genre, and decided to go in the SM global audition in London with Lily.

EDUCATION: A bit shaky because of moving around a lot, but sat the Irish Junior Cert and graduated from SOPA’S Department of Stage Arts.
FAMILY:
MOTHER: Jinri, keeps her in touch with her Korean side, can be a bit harsh on Rose at times as she left her younger siblings behind, and still doesn’t understand why she chose the life of an idol.
FATHER: Patrick, the Irish side of the family, grew up surrounded by music, and taught Rose how to play the piano, made sure Rose was involved with playing traditional Irish music or music in general when growing up and is proud of his daughter’s musical career.
SIBLINGS: Maeve, 12, takes after her mother, so doesn’t have the closest relationship with Rose, even goes as far as to tease her sometimes to deal with the fact that she misses her.
Kian, aged 15, takes after his dad, so understands why Rose loves performing so much, and defends his sister’s choices constantly to his mum and friends, even visited Rose with their dad after PRISM’s debut and it was an emotional reunion, tears were DEFINITELY shed.
MOST AT EASE: Playing music, composing or performing.
GETS UPSET WHEN: she’s in a social situation like a huge party she’d rather not be at, or if she reads a bad article about one of the members.
HOW SHE FEELS ABOUT HERSELF: Feels confident in her music, but definitely has her down days where she doesn’t feel overly certain of most things, and sometimes doubts her place of belonging in the group due to her mother and sister questioning her career.

GREATEST WEAKNESS: Will bottle things up and not ask for help until pushed to.
SOFT SPOT: Her crush on another NCT member, her younger brother. Her soft spot for her brother is a well-known fact, whereas all her group and some members outside PRISM know of her other weak spot.

-one-third of the Dreamie Bros (name given to her by dreamie boys)
-looks up to Shinee’s Taemin, and often wishes she was born ten days later so that they could share a birthday.
-fave western artists are Alessia Cara, blackbear, Frank Ocean and Pentatonix.
-EXO, LOONA, Stray Kids, and Taeyeon are her favourite kpop artists, she also loves Tiffany’s solo work but can’t speak too much about it as she is under SM.
-Her nickname in the group alternates between Rosie(Lily, Amelie), Rosa(Mija and Karine), and Rosebud(by Johnny, Sofia and Hana).
-when she gets really frustrated or excited, she starts using Irish slang and her accent confuses the hell out of people except for Lily.
-also auditioned for the X Factor UK which is where she met Lily and got through to Bootcamp but can’t bear to watch her audition back and is used to tease her occasionally.
-she once got really sick after going on a rollercoaster, so she doesn’t like going on them on the festival, preferring bumper cars or waltzers.
-she loves horror movies but hates crime documentaries.
-is closest with Lily and the 02/03 liners in the group, treats Amelie and Karine like the close bond with her sister she never really got.
-She loves sharing a stage name with Rose from Blackpink, which makes them good friends, and they even plan to record a Christmas cover together as they both love Christmas songs.
-learning French from Amelie as it was one of her favourite subjects in school and didn’t want to lose what she’d learnt.
-is slightly scared of the Dreamies as they intimidate her slightly especially around her 2019 Boom debut with Rose and Karine, but eventually treats Chenle and Jisung as her brothers, and warms up to her fellow 2000 babies.
