Unplanned and Sudden [Rosalind/Bianca]
"I don't see why father couldn't do this himself," Bianca muttered, walking through the busy village. There was the occasional glance at her-- she did a good job of ignoring them-- as she made her way to the large manor visible from almost anywhere in town. That was the case for most De Sainte-Coquille homes, after all. Large, extravagant, and something that caught everyone's eye whether they wanted it to or not.
By right, the young woman shouldn't even be here. None would be very pleased to see her approaching the forbidden manor, after all. At least, no one who knew of the problems she'd posed for her ever-so-highly-regarded household. Her father had long accepted her decision, even going against most other's wishes to cut ties completely with his daughter. but according to him, he didn't have enough will to do so.
The reason for the young ex-aristocrat's visit to her Uncle Herman's home was only to retrieve something her father had left there. "It should be right at the door," he said, "You won't be there for more than several minutes, my dear!" Bianca still rolled her eyes now when thinking about his excuse for not going. For saying one is busy and then insisting to watch over his grandchildren was a ridiculous thing to do.
So here she was, at the bottom of the steps leading up to the large abode. With a heavy sigh, she made her way up and went to knock at the large door. However, just as she was lifting up her hand, the door opened and revealed a face she had not seen for what felt like forever. The regal woman was the last person Bianca should be seeing, considering that her cousin was the one who would get punished for this.
"Rosalind," she said, smoothing down the skirt of her dress. All she wanted to do was give her a hug, but the look on her face said otherwise. Her light pink lips formed a straight line, neither showing surprise or shock of any sort. "Good morning."
