White Magnolias {Iris/Vishnal}
She waited patiently for him to compose herself. If someone had embarrassed her, she would have wanted the same amount of time to gather herself together. It was only proper, after all. Especially if you were the one who caused it. Vishnal did not deserve to be rushed.
Oh, would you listen to him? He certainly enjoyed flattering her. Iris chuckled, covering her lips. âOh, Mr. Vishnal. You do know how to make a girl blush~.â
What was that? She was simplyâŠ? Now, if she wasnât the curious type, she would have let his repetitive compliment go. Unfortunately for Vishnal, she was a curious person about any things. Her smile grew in size as she gazed at him. âIâm simply what, Mr. Vishnal? I hope it wasnât something bad, yes~?â
Vishnal couldnât help the dark excessive amounts of blood that came rushing to his cheeks, his ears in particular standing out just a bit redder then the rest. âB-Blush? Miss Iris I assure you I am not trying deliberately to do such a thing! I simply speak the truth and nothing but the truth! I would never put together false words of flattery just to make you do a thing such as blush! I speak the only words that I have thought from the moment I met you,â His smile softened, before using is index finger to trace an X over his chest. âCross my heart â„.â
The man felt proud of himself, resting back in his chair while taking the teacup he had sat off to the side in his grasp once more. The cup was too his lips, when he heard the womanâs curious comment ring out into the open.
And he coughed.
âW-What? Simply what? I said creative! That was the only word I was trying to say! I just ... couldnât think of it at the time! Hence-- The long pause I had!â He wiped his mouth with a side napkin. âCreative.â
