Yes, I do. I guess it’s a bit of a controversial opinion, so I’ll explain why I prefer it. For one, rosebriel was actually canon (sorry qiubriel shippers) and they were a really cute couple. I’ve spoken about it before, but Gabriel is the only person at the school that Rosalinda is truly open with. Not to mention that we got to see a different side of her because of him. He brought out a more lax, even somewhat silly side of her. It was also just plain fun seeing them interact with each other. The way he got flustered around her was precious. Plus, their pet names for each other were nauseatingly sweet- in a good way. I’m gonna stop here before this just turns into me gushing about them, because I also want to explain why I’m not really a qiubriel fan. Basically, I think Qiu should try to get over Gabriel at this point. He’s liked him for quite a while, and it hasn’t gone anywhere. Gabriel has made it clear several times that he doesn’t see him that way. Honestly, they’d both probably be happier as good friends.

I know I already made a rosebriel post not too long ago but, well, they keep delivering. Rosalinda actually admitted to Gabriel that she wasn’t doing well? And also, she’s calling him Gabriel now? It’s a good time to be a rosebriel shipper, ironically enough

I know that rosebriel had already broken up by this point, but ever since the first vampire attack they’ve been so good together.

Rosalinda rarely opens up about her feelings, but she was able to confide in Gabriel before anyone else. Gabriel, who usually gets uncomfortable talking about more sensitive topics, was able to confide in her as well. This is something that’s hard for the both of them, but they’re comfortable with one another. Enough so that they’re willing to be vulnerable.

I don’t think they’ll get back together, but I hope their friendship continues to develop. They rely on each other, they trust each other, and they’re both so important for the other’s mental health. Being in the same therapy group may deepen these feelings, and I’d love to see where they could go from there.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the sapphire ships, so I decided to write my thoughts on some of them. Also, I’m open for discussion and I love seeing different opinions, just not when they’re unnecessarily rude.
